I'm sorry if this has already been asked before, but i looked throught the first page or two and didn't see anything regarding it. I'm trying to figure out what type of weapon i should try and get for my build.
the build I've been using is:
Dagger mastery: 10+1+3
Critical Strikes: 12+1
Shadow Arts: 8+1
[skill]Death's Charge[/skill][skill]Shadowy Burden[/skill][skill]Black Mantis Thrust[/skill][skill]Jungle Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Return[/skill]
I've been using Zealous Elonian Daggers of Fortitude (slashing 7-17, +29hp, zealous). I'd be happy with em even more, but they've got a "show me the money" inscription on em from when i bought em, and no nightfall to fix that. I'm also using a full shrouded set, with a rune of attunement, 70armor.
Basically, I'm trying to figure out if i should still stick to zealous weapons, or if going vampric or sundering would better suit my style. I'm generally more of a PvE gamer. Any unique weapons I should look into, or just weapons with what effect will work fine.
Thanks for any advice you guys can offer.

Use what you have, but get a Strength and Honor 15^50 inscrip, or maybe vs hex or something else. Zealous/Fortitude daggers are usually the best option for sins. Sundering is just crap since it only adds maybe 2 damage, and Vampiric isn't worth the few points of damage it adds for the -1 degen. Zealous is the way to go since sins havea base of 4 pips of e-regen.

Zealous for your build.
Though with regards to vampiric, it's good, if people go '0 noes! -1 pip wil p0on me!!!11' then they obviously haven't heard of switching weapons. The extra three damage plus three health regen per hit more than makes up for the one pip of degen. With my build, I use zealous most, just to be completely comfortable with my upkeep. However, if I don't mind being more reliant on critical hits and the opponants need to be taken down quickly, I use vampiric.

Awesome, thanks for the responses guys.
I've been looking around at the unique weapons, and im thinking of picking up shiro's blades for a vamp weapon, and just for show when i feel like just lookin pimp.
My real question that i come down to is this now. Which weapon type should i use? Piercing or slashing? I've been using slashing all along (i bought my elonian daggers for my sin at lvl 1), but i've been trying to decide if i might not be better off with piercing daggers. I know the unique Ceremonial Daggers would fit perfectly into my build, but i really dont like that skin.

Everthorn's Chakrams.
Piercing = owned by Shield's Up, and that's more frequent that Bladeturn Refrain. People usually carry AL vs piercing, because of bows, spears, (pvp) daggers and axes. Slashing is less frequent.

Yeah, for PvP try to go with slashing. That's one thing I liked about Shiro's blades, besides being the best looking daggers in the game. (imo) The only problem is the high req.

yeah, I had been thinking more along the lines of sticking with slashing weapons because of all the piercing negating skills.
Ok, real noob question. Is it possible to mod a unique? I've been looking at getting Shiro's Blades for the offchance that I need vampiric, but I'm wondering. Is there anyway to take a zealus upgrade and throw it on the Shiro's Blades to replace the vamp effect, all the while keeping the unique skin.

greenie cannot be mod. you have to accept what it has. that is why gold > green

Unless, the green is all you need. ( Everthorn's Chakrams, hint hint )

All you will ever need is 1 pair of zealous daggers and 1 pair of vampiric daggers. Use zealous when your build has little or no energy management and use vampiric if you have skills such as black lotus strike in your build.
