Hi everyone,
I try to play in hardmode with 2 monks. With both of them healing/protecting me, I am almost invincible (in certain area). My problem is I can't kill the monsters. I stand there winging my axe for like 5 minutes, not a single monster dies!
I need a Warrior build which can do lots of damage. you can forget all about defensive skills, because I got them covered by monks. I am killing flesh based monsters right now, so bleeding is applicable. Thank you in advance!
Can't die, but can't kill. Need a build

I can use either axe or sword. I don't have Fraction, though.

If you want a good warrior build, take a Dragon Slash build like the one suggested or a Triple Chop build with an axe. However, if you are having trouble killing the mobs, your team's problem may be lack of utility, not damage. Having a good shutdown or interupt type player in your group may make your team operate more smoothly. Consider a good shutdown mesmer, curses necro, or interupt ranger.

He already said he doesn't have "Fraction"
Barbarian, you should post the build you're using now. All you need is 1 selfheal. If you got Nightfall, use Lion's comfort. If you still feel you need defense, use "Watch yourself". Use the rest of your skills for offense.

You already have 4 attacks not including it, so why not switch it for a self-heal or a utility like Watch Yourself!..?
Anyways, Barbarian -- post your build like ^ suggested.

it depends if you want to be able to kill 1 target at a time or whipe out a mob. without factions killing a group will be much harder without Triple Chop...
for a single target it doesnt matter which weapon you take just make sure you have a speed boost and an IAS stance, the rest should be a mix of utility and attack skills, depends on party setup...
if you want to take on a mob you could try a Hundred Blades build that I dont really recommend or the better option use a hammer with Earth Shaker and some AoE attacks/spells with a speed boost, IAS and some utility which is more important as you dont have a shield...

This overly (no res, no selfheal) offensive build should be able to deal some damage:
[skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill][skill]Eviscerate[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill][skill]Disrupting Chop[/skill][skill]Agonizing Chop[/skill][skill]Flail[/skill][skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]Rending Touch[/skill], 16 axe, 13 strength

If you don't have factions, look into running a good hammer build. It will provide both damage as well as KDs which will help shut down monks that may be negating the damage you are dealing. I would suggest using a combo such as:
[skill]Counter Blow[/skill][skill]Devastating Hammer[/skill][skill]Crushing Blow[/skill]
Add in more attack skills as you feel necessary. Counter Blow is a great PvE hammer skill since monk enemies will often spend time wanding away when not casting. Use this to KD them with counter, then get them with Devastating after and follow up with Crushing before they get up to provide a good spike.
Rending Touch as suggested by Narayanese is a good skill to use if you have factions to add some more utility and shutdown to your build as well.
If you ever do HM in areas like Gates of Kryta, definately bring Judges Insight since it will allow you to deal double damage to all undead you may encounter.

Hello everyone,
Sorry for late reply. Below are my skills:
Eviscerate
Cyclone Axe
Executioner's Strike
Flail
Power Attack
Dolyak Signet
Swift Chop
Live Vicariously
I found that my energy bar is almost always full with the skills mentioned above. Is there a better way to take full advantage of the energy? I just want to do more damage.
Would you do more damage with hammer build? I only have Prophecies and Nightfall by the way.
Regards,

Regards, While Dolyak does provide a strong defense, it's really going to hold you back. Being slowed down by Flail isn't that bad since you can use another stance to cancel it out, but you can't get Dolyak to go away when you need it to. This results in you being stuck waddling around while your target waltzes away out of your range. Consider bringing a skill to allow you to run faster. Since you have Nightfall, I would reccomend [skill]Enraged Charge[/skill] since it does this job and also gives you a good boost on adrenaline gaining. Use it right before you hit your first target and you can put Flail up instantly. Also, I would reccomend not investing in Healing Prayers. Consider damage reduction skills such as "Watch Yourself" or "Shields Up" as your main defense and bring a healing signet as an emergency save.
Hammer builds don't necessarily provide more damage, but the ability to knock down your enemy effectively shuts them down, which often makes your damage more effective. A knocked down monk won't heal the damage you just dealt them and a knocked down enemy damage dealer won't cost your monk energy, which may give you a longer time to survive and do your job in the battle.

hammer: create chain to KD+crushing blow (if weakness is in throw in fierce blow) Fun elite to use is dwarven battle stance to shut down casters and build adrenaline at the same time (like those ruby djinn and their SF!)
Axe: I like to use Power Attack, Magehunter Strike, Penetrating Blow, Disember (power attack is immediately followed by MS because MS acts like an interrupt skill with 1/2 "cast". This combo spikes nice while gaining two strikes of adrenaline in what would have been only one swing of your axe
Sword: I like to use:
Soldier's Stance [E]
Sever Artery
Galrath slash
Sun and Moon Slash
Watch yourself!
Heal Sig

If you're familiar with Soldier's stance you can keep it up infinitely. So infinite IAS of 33% while spamming sword skills galrath slash and sun and moon slash (vamp blade would be really fun here but unfortunately I don't have a vamp mod to put on my jade sword so I just use whatever sword i find). If you know you're fighting fleshy creatures bring gash instead of GS, it's loads more useful. I only bring GS for things like the stone judge in arborstone (MASTERS WITH HERO HENCH i felt happy then!).
