I've trapped it in normal mode (I would trap farm that area for St. Patrick's and Easter drops), and it can also be trapped in Hard Mode, though right now I can't figure out a way to survive the meteor showers from the Fire Callers.
UPDATE
By using the UW solo trap build with some tweaks (namely, I took one point off of expertise, one off of wildy survival, and invested them into Inspiration Magic, replaced Whirling D with Mantra of Flame, and replaced Barbed Trap with Flame), it works, though after the melee charr are dead, the ranged charr will be all over you. I'm thinking of maybe bringing one henchie and flagging them into the mob to tank while I loot.

i kill all the melee dudes but have problems getting to the items without getting killed by the casters or im un able to kill the casters

I'm trying with my N/Mo SS farming build but I can cast spells on Rurik without getting attacked from other charrs :\.

I'm able to tank these charr no problem on a 105hp monk, but cant seem to kill anything. Do I need more DPS to overcome the fact that they all scatter? Perhaps a dual team? My ele isn't far enough yet to cap Obsidian Flesh so the ele build is out of the question unless there is an alternative. Thanks.

I just did 3 runs and got 2 golds... the other drops were junk. I didn't get much drops either, first run I got only Charr Carvings / Charr Hides and 1 purple Air Wand. Bad Luck I guess
