World vs Worls PvP
The idea is that it's this big open-structure PvP battlefield, and depending on your personal play style, you can choose to either be a tank and go up into the front lines and enter direct player-versus-player combat, or you can play more of a support role. Perhaps you want to protect a supply train that's bringing supplies to ballistas on the castle walls, or perhaps you want to man the ballistas and shoot the ballistas at the enemy. Or maybe you want to man a watchtower way out in the forest so that you can give your team early warning that the enemy is trying to flank around the side.
Ok this sounds like huge fun. Sign me up !

The general idea of World vs. World is appealing to me, however the (infinite?) level cap could be a deal breaker for me. I don't want be pwned because a guy is a higher level than me. I don't want to bash newer players into dust only because I'm a higher level.
If skill > grind in World vs. World, then it'll be a great way to waste time.

I'm still skeptical. All I see is a lot of hype, and it's the worst kind of hype... the "OMG this will be revolutionary guyz!!!!" kind that big games like Oblivion had. Oblivion developers couldn't stop raving about how "advanced the AI was" and how it was the most amazing feature and was light-years ahead of any game and that it would deliver you a dynamic and uniquely amazing experience.
The reality? Oblivion's AI is quirkier and dumber than a bag of rocks.
The moral of the story? 99% of the "amazing features" that are promised are never as good as they lead on to be. I predict "World Battles" will be just as overhyped, and ultimately repetitive and lame.
