Possible Lightbringer 9 and 10?

After the Weekend I bet A-Net did not expect that many people to reach max Lightbringer. Because of this, it might be possible that A-Net might add 2 more Lightbringer Titles? Also If you guys Realized almost all the PvE maxed Titles have Legendary in them except Lightbringer....Possible clue? Discuss it here.

Unless they make a more viable location to farm it...I am talking the equivalent of Sulphurous Wastes for Sunspear, I doubt it. 50k considering the lower bounty amount for LB was already one heck of a grind...not to mention it was a double point weekend.

Well because it was double weekend a lot of people who had level one Lightbringer now have Level 8 Lightbringer and because of that Domain of Anguish would be Easier to Farm.

The LB titles do not help you farm. Sure you have a 8 dmg reduction and you deal 40% more dmg, but by no means does this title mean you can farm DoA. You can still be demolished a rogue enemy that leaked through your lines. But really its not THAT helpful and is by no means a requirement for playing DoA.

Iv seen a person with LB 11 before. I dunno if he made it there without tellin anyone, he used bots, or just hacked, but there was a title name for it without a doubt. weird.

That's nothing, I once saw a guy who had LB 15 - he had to grind out 200k lb points using a non-max gold dead sword (only way they will give bounties). It was called "Apocryphal Sun God" and counted as three maxed titles!

Either that or when the game says the title is maxed it is - dunno, your choice I guess.

I didnt take part in that weekend, and I expect alot of others didnt too. I didnt even know about it, because I was busy.

But I wouldnt have took part anyway, because I dont enjoy mindless grinding to gain points on a title.

We dont need another 2 ranks on the lightbringer because its mind-numblingly boring enough to get points on it. I might one-day want to max it out, but I dont want the grinding needed doubled.

Its unfair to add more ranks anyway, just because a minority took part in that weekend and maxed the title. What about those who didnt take part and still have alot of work to do, to achieve max.

And what about those who have maxed it before that weekend, and worked hard for it? They wouldnt appreciate their max title being removed.

We need more fun ways to gain those points, aside from endless farming to kill creatures. Then I would sign for a higher rank. But I dont enjoy endless grinding of killing creatures to gain points.

If you mean to reorder tracks so at 50.000 you get (10), like Sunspear, no problem for me.

If you mean to have 100k and 200k tracks, then forget about it.

I couldn't take part in the weekend because of the lag.... and have never seen anyone with over Lightbringer rank 6.

I'm still on 4... nearly 5 .... working my way up manually in Nightfallen Jahai on Normal Mode whenever I can escape the lag.

I hit Legendary Spearmarshal (10) yesterday. It was pretty easy to do using worms in the Sulfurous Waste to be honest.

I would actually like it if you could still take the bounties and continue to gain Sunspear points (and Light Bringer points too for that matter) above 50,000 even if there was no additional title or benefit. Much like my 7 million XP on my main character, it would just be a number to watch going up as I carry on with trying to gain the Vanquisher title.

Oh god...Im still struggling at Rank 7 Lightbringer....and seeing as how I didnt get THAT much done over the double point weekend, the old domain of secrets 2 points farm is gonna take a while, calculated on average if each run nets me 270ish points and takes 20 mins, it would take 30-35 hours, Id rather work on Legendary Skill hunter, already have 170 elites capped from all 3 campaigns.


IF they DO make a r10 LB I suggest they name it 1337 Lightbringer, then I may be motivated to actually spend all my gw time farming lb points.

I'm was still getting Sunspear Points after Rank 10 as of Sunday night. I'll have to check to see if I'm still getting them when I get home.

Currently, I have 50,191.

It looks like you are correct! I just checked and the bounties are still available in hard mode past 50,000 points!

I must have gone in on normal mode - saw the refusal to offer the bounty, and because that is what I expected to see, I didn't try again.
