Dunno if this has been posted yet but I was wondering if this build might be viable for solo farming with a Paragon:
Command - 3+3
Leadership - 8+1+3
Motivation - 0+3
Spear Mastery - 10+3
Healing Prayers - 9
Protection Prayers - 9
Equipment: -50 cesta and +5 Energy Spear w/ +20% Enchantments(Spirit of the Forgotten is ideal for this build)
"Go for the Eyes"
"They're on Fire"
E>Soldier's Fury
Blazing Finale
Protective Spirit
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit
Healing Breeze
Basically, the concept is to constantly keep mobs on fire.
Havent tried this yet...But I think it should work.
Any comments will be highly appreciated.

ya, paragons would be hard with energy since they only have 2 regen and there is no essense bond in there... fire would also be a slow way to kill people, definitely not for UW or where there is any monks.

the problem with this build or any other attempt to 55ing with a Paragorn is that you dont have any AoE damage. and picking off single targets is very slow and infact I dont really see where your damage is coming from besides burning...

I dont think 55 paragon will work well, for the same reasons 55 warrior wont work well. Its simply not designed to be a caster...Maybe paragon VwK or paragon physical resistance +armor buffs or something. That is more realistic

[skill]"They're On Fire!"[/skill] doesnt make any sense here. I'd be hard to reduce the original damage past 5 so this skill has no use.

^^ I was wondering the same thing. That skill is useless when the whole point of the build is to take 5 damage max against any attack. For 55ing generally you want to do as much damage to a group as possibly in as short a time as possible. That build just won't do it when you're hitting one target at a time. Not sure how a SoJ based build would work on a Para but as was mentioned, the energy requirements for a 55 build is really too much for a Paragon. Enemies can't attack when they're knocked down and Blessed Sig is a Divine Favor skill so severe energy problems when Balt's Spirit doesn't generate energy.

Could work, in theory, but you'd have to kill foes one at a time, which blows, and imho goes against the point of making a 55.

Since you have to pick off foes one at a time, this would seem okay for boss farming...but mobs? No.

This will probably work as with burning you do 12dmg/s. So you will do 600dmg in 50 secs...which isn't slow in my opinion. Only problem is, you have to be close to the enemy what isn't that easy with a lot of casters.

Your opinion is wrong. Compare it to something like SS at curses 12: 29 damage every time a foe hits, which is roughly once every second and a half, and you can overlap that with another SS AND cast defile enchants or whatever. Or VwK. Or ANY elementalist spells.
