Primeval & Ancient armor: Fugly?

i actually really like the mummy one, but youre right with the others...

I got my female ele ancient armor b/c the others sucked imo. don't get me wrong i like it and all, but I wish i could have made my 15K canthan armor inscribable....

I dont like those sets too, Ele primeval is teh s#ck. But some ancient sets are ok.

I actually bought the Primeval armor for my female necro because it was unique and most people don't have it. Actually the guildie I play with has it and almost the exact skin color as me, so we look like twins.

I really like the Ancient Armor for the rit...Not crazy about some of the head pieces in factions...looks like the head becomes a teapot.

I like the Primeval monk armor as well, but again, its different

If any1 has said it, I think necro primeval armor could be the ugliest armor. I'd rather look like some walking death lord, rather than a butterfly. Maybe thats just me. I think some better armor could have been thought up for the necromancer.

Here, here! By far my favorite...I've even grown to love the bug on my shoulder.

Armor is always about individual taste. What maybe considered ugly to one might be considered really nice to others.

People have various tastes so it's nice that ANET has given some very different looks in each chapter. I kept my Drok's Knight armor forever because I didn't care for any of the Factions warrior armor, but I switched it out as fast as I could to get the warrior primeval armor. I'm still waiting on a male elementalist armor that I like at all...I don't understand why they have to look like a foppish bozo from an overblown Victorian romance or a post modern art project.

But in general I like more of the ancient and primeval sets then I dislike. Now about that necro armor in NF...I am so glad that I did not start my necro in NF...*shudders*...

I like most of the Primeval and Ancient Sets, except the eles primeval looks like a bunch of wire and the male warrior's primeval makes him way TOO MUCH fat, even fatter than FOW. The rest is ok for me ^.^

I love necro prim I bought my necro a set...the anciant looks good but I wouldn't spend money on it.

I don't think any of those armors are ugly!

The only primeval armor sets I liked are the warrior ones and the assassin ones. But the Factions armor set = Da bomb.

Monk and elementalist ancient armor are my two favorite sets for those classes. (Though the monk armor might look better with sandals instead of the slippers.) I think ancient has some of the best sets in the game.

Some of the primeval sets are pretty hideous though. The elementalist sets especially.

I like my ancient warrior armor, better than the rest. It's a matter of taste.

I agree, mostly. Some of that armor just looks gaudy. The ancient dervish armor isn't bad though.

I hope EOTN armor is nice, much nicer. I really want something pretty for my dervish.

Female Mesmer Primeval is hot, but I have a stocking fettish. I am not impresed with all the rest. Sin Armor generally looks like trash. Canthan 1.5k ftw.

What are you talking about? The assassin ancient set RAWKS! It looks so sinister and mysterious. Heck, just the mask is good, the detail is so unique. It looks like some kind of cloth thicker than usually used in the assassin designs, most of them actually having more armoured looking masks.

I find ancient pieces rather charming, in general. Male ele in particular is very beautiful. I got ancient for my female mesmer (looks classy) and for my female ele (sunspear 15k is still better). Now primeval looks erm, primitive. I suppose it's alright to look fugly. But they went too far with some, I mean, monk primeval isn't even ugly, it's hedious, disgusting. 15k warrior is so generic that no one even cares anymore.
