Chant Problem

I have only recently noticed a problem with the two chants that i have on my Paragon: 'Song of Restoration' and 'Ballad of Restoration'.

So here's what happens:

I cast Song of Restoration first (its icon appears in the top left) then anytime during its recharge i cast Ballad of Restoration (or vice versa). Now sometimes, both the icons of Song and Ballad of Restoration appear at the top left, but sometimes the 2nd chants icon i cast replaces the the first.

Also, occasionaly my chants end too early (i.e. less than 10 seconds).

Why is this happening?
Are you only allowed one chant at a time then?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I get this exact thing to. I don't know if it's aproblem with the icon and the chant is still in affect, or if the whole chant has dropped.

Song of restoration ends when ever u use a skill and u gain health. balad of restoration ends when u take dmg and u gain health. so if u do song of restoration then balad of restoration song of restoration would end and u would get health

Right i understand now. Had GW running whilst reading this and this is exactly what happens. Cheers for that.

But surely in the description of Song of Restoration, it should say at the end "This chant ends if you use a skill.". At the moment the current descrition is:

"Elite Chant. For 10 seconds, the next time each party member within earshot uses a Skill, that party member gains X health."

IMO, this suggests that the chant lasts for 10 seconds and within that time whenever a party member within earshot uses a skill they gain X health. When the 10 seconds is up the chant ends and not when you use a skill, because it doesn't say that!

The phrase "the next time" is used consistently throughout skill descriptions to indictate that the effect will be triggered once only.

Reversal of fortune: For 8 seconds, the next time target ally would take damage, that ally gains that amount of Health instead, maximum 15...67.

Weapon of remedy: For 8 seconds, the next time target ally takes damage from a foe, that ally steals up to 15...63 Health from that foe and loses 1 Condition.

OMG THOSE SKILLS SUCK BECAUSE IT ONLY TRIGGERS ONCE. BUFF SO IT TRIGGERS MULTIPLE TIMES PLZKTHX!

And that is why there will always be idiots in this world.

The paragon party support line (namely all chants/echos/shouts in motivation) is much better than a monk with HB/HealParty imo. FAR more spammable - and can serve several purposes. Normally I run one monk hero and one party support paragon with energizing finale/song of resto/mending refrain and there are never any issues with health. The thing paragons ARENT good at is spike healing / protection - but they rock at making dem wittle bars go up.
