UW / FoW Access Scrolls for Balth Points

If it can work with Kurzick / Luxon Faction points trading for Urgoz Warren / The Deep access scrolls...... then why can't we trade Balthazar Points for access scrolls for the Fissure of Woe and Underworld (or at least the former, since it IS Balthazar's realm)?

I hear quite a few complaints about the whole favour of the gods matter from americans and the like who rarely have it....
I also hear complaints about the uselessness of Balth faction to people who have unlocked everything. That as well as my having little use for Balth faction I get while trying to get Kurzick faction (I don't need to unlock much as my Heroes are well-skilled already and I unlock most skills during PvE play).
Furthermore... what actually discourages ME from going in the Fissure of Woe is the 1000 gold cost.


So why not let us spend Balth points to get FoW / UW access scrolls to do away with the favour of the gods and 1000 gold cost? At the very least those who do get Balth points could sell them to the farmers who might not (for less than a plat, obviously... so no major money problems) and everyone wins.

I'm almost exclusively PvE, but sometimes farm Balthazar faction just to make my hero window look prettier (due to a full faction bar). This has been brought up a million times: Can't we find a use for Balthazar faction for PvE-ers?

I think it's a good idea, though we'll have to debate about how much faction is needed.

I don't know about the Underworld, but lore-wise, a FoW passage scroll relates well to Balthazar faction, with it being his realm and all.

Yeah. What I had in mind wasn't a mere 1k..... the cost for an ordinary skill-unlock.

I was thinking more along the lines of 2.5k to 5k... No more than 5 though as it should be possible to perfectly empty Balth-points into scrolls to prevent having to make too many runs back and forth.


As for it being FoW only and not UW .... the problem with that is that there are no Grenth faction points to collect... so it wouldn't really be practical to have an alternative for Underworld access.

Good idea, it also fits the "favor" thing (Balthazar's favor, Grenth is another story)

You can have 3k a day by making the training arenas course.

It should be a number that prevents people from getting one scroll everyday that way, at least 5 or 6k.

As long the amount doesn't increase the amount of Kurz/Lux Faction needed.

10K is a little much.
Maybe:
8K for FoW
6K for UW
4K for others

/signed for FoW scrolls since it's his realm, and people can more easily get their FoW armor without having to wait for favor. UW ecto farmers can still wait their turn or get scrolls the normal way.

plus this will give those of us with UAX something to do with our balth faction.

I think a range of 3-5k is reasonable. How long do you need to earn those 3-5k factions. 1-12hrs depending on players. And assuming there are also korean and taiwan server, they would never get into fow.uw for days as they can't win HoH with that many europe / amercian teams in it.

Why?
You can get 1k (the normal cost for entry) in ... like... 10 to 20 minutes just by going through an explorable zone.
I mean... 5k to be honest isn't that high, so I'm fine with that. I can get to 10k twice in a day if I push it.

What he said ... 1k factions is ok price. After all, 1k faction for urgoz/deep works fine.

comparted to ease of 1k gold (guarantted fast ways) getting 1k balth faction is quite dificult and frustrating for PvE people, and i guess its nowhere near speed of gold gain for experienced PvPers.

Ofc, there are better ways how to connect PvP to entrances: Give UW/FoW scrolls to winnes of rated GvG (regardless of ranks involved) - that way, you make low-eng gvg actually rewarding and promote it since PvE guild memebers will see clear benefits ad look into farming rated victories.

~20 minutes for party of 8 people to fight to entrance, not guaranteed sounds nice.

You can get a easy 1k balth faction from fighting Zaishen. 10min max.

Can get deep/warren scrolls through faction because you can get luxon kurzick faction via quests.

Also the uw/fow scrolls take the whole group unlike the warren/deep ones.
