Question concerning Shiro's Sword

Hi all
I was wondering, is there a reason Shiro's Sword has a req of 13 sword, This is the only green sword I know of that has this req. This pretty much makes the sword useless for everyone but the warrior class. Should I post a thread in Sardelac Sanitarium suggesting GW for a change to req to 9 like all the other green swords?

Apparently you have to belong to the top-elite to use Shiro's Sword, no need to change the requirement.

Same goes for his daggers btw.

It used to be Req 15 before.
So I wont think they will drop it below 13.

erm well he was lvl 31 so req 13 is his req 8 probably lol. Its fine IMO.

Yeah, his daggers are 15. I think this is to keep up the illusion of him being so powerful that a mere mortal needs inhuman skill to wield them. But they're no problem: one mask of Daggers+Major Dagger Rune+Minor Vigor=No problem.

Well some of the other bosses that drop swords are higher level but they drop req 9 swords and yes, Sins and War prof will be the only ones that will be able to use his swords effectively, everyone else that takes sin or war as 2nd well be left out and I find that this really reduces the priced on theose greens, i was able to buy shrios sword for 3k cause no-one wanted it LOL
Also another intrtesting note, Since they ahve introduced hard mode, I would figure that you would be able to get another amulet of the mist, well my son beat Shiro on hard mode and he didnt get another amulet of the mist, thought the pourpous of Hard mode was to reintroduce the game, figured that would included the rewards as well

it's in anet's infinite wisdom, which mere mortals cannot possibly comprehend

in other words, makes no sense to me why they should be r13, though that's better than the r15 they used to be

I was hoping that by posting here that ANet would impart with some of their "wisdom" and explain the reasoning behind the req 13 sword. But then again it may fall in the realms of many of the questions mere mortals cannot get answers to
