Right, everyone knows that 'secret' place behind the shed on Gates of Kryta, where huge numbers of undead spawn. I was thinking of farming that on hard mode, with Oink holding aggro and me with JI and Barrage making mincemeat out of the undead.

However, it's not working

. I remember that I used to be able to use Oink to hold them in place while I barraged the crap out of them, but now they just run around Oink, or Oink decided t omove at the most inopportune moments, luring huge amounts of undead towards my ranger. Has anyone managed to get Oink perfectly in place for the bodyblock?

when you enter the mission go outside of the gates then when you see the undead coming and kill the farmers ahead of you go to the left...you will see a a little farm building go behind that and just keep going...you will see them no doubt about it.

I've been doing it fine.

I just run down slowly so Oink catches up. then trigger the spawn and Oink usually holds them in place. he occasionally moves making a couple of grasps run free but all you have to do is use a run skill (i use dodge) for a little and he takes aggro again.

i just use an ele for this, goes pretty fast

got about 5 sephis axes and 3 dead bows (rare)

i was doing a hit and run farm in HM and i somhow got oink stuck behind a rock... all the undead just surronded him while i nuked the crap outa em

bout the only way i have been able to do it so far....me being a warrior...is to take a bonder hero with me....i am setup as a Wa/Ne using SS and enfeebling...i know its not much but it works :P

Unknown1, could you post your ele build for HM GoK? Not sure waht build to run as im new as a nuker, but at the same time I want to solo it.

you can also do this with a 55 monk using echo and soj. the timing is very tricky (only did it once) but they die relatively fast because of holy dmg

Defensive Stance

Pretty easy to use. Make sure to cover healsig with either Bonetti's or Defensive stance each time to avoid taking too much damage.

I've tried it with my 55 necro and Barrager Ranger and I've noticed that Oink holds aggro for around 15 or so seconds before running to me with a horde of angry ghouls and hellhounds behind him

Could A Dervish farm them, prehaps with Avay of Balthazar and tanking skills for holy damage, or using Zealous renewal, HoHF, and Balthazar rage for holy AoE, then end with Mystic sandstorm maybe.

I farm them because it is about a 10 minute run tops, and I get about 2k a run.

The build I use:

Mo/D

16 smite
11 divine favor (use +1 headpiece to get 12 when casting blessed aura)
8 earth prayers
Rest in prot

I used to farm them with my mesmer back in the day, lots of dye drops.
Will try in HM with my monk but I would not mind that Ele build as well.

Is there a shortcut to get to the secret area? Seems you have to run all the way around to reach them or am i missing something and then the patrols on the way.....nvrmind, I found it. Its behind the building.

Juge's insight cyclone ftw, then just tank near oink and cyclone at 80 dmg. SoR Wammo can do it easy.

Kanhei Rit can also tank, with a famine ranger it takes about 2 minutes to kill them, just make sure the ranger doesnt come too near (rit uses SV/AV, u can use a hero, just need to get famine spirit).

I used my ele to farm this solo in normal mode, but icant get it to work in hardmode im using
Lavefront, flameburst, rodgorts invocation, glyph of sacrifice, meteor shower, fire attunement, elemental attunement and aura of restoaration.

I have 16 in firemagic, and 9 in enegy storage.

I have no problems doing this in normal mode, but now in hard i cant.
SO Unknown1 or other there knows how to do this in hardmode with ele, plz help me tweak this setup
