Olias needs fixed, or at least mine does. I dont know if anyone else has seen this or not but its becoming more common everytime i play with olias. He does fine for awhile then suddenly he just stops somewhere and will not move. his minions stand there with him and even if the party is getting wiped he just watches. He hasnt always done this it was since the last update before hardmode. But in hard mode its a lot more noticable as once you have DP you might as well hang it up. Plus we have usually killed so many thingst that theres nothing to start his minion horde again.
so please anet check olias' AI mines buggy.

btw before its mentioned i have him set on gaurd
My olias is broken

You probably set his location to a certain area using one of the flags. There is a quest you should do before you get the hero "Olias" that teaches how to move your heroes using flags and they automatically follow you without them. I suggest you maybe take your time as you are playing through the game.

Also, if you're running out of corpses, then MM is probably the wrong build to bring into that area. MM overall doesn't work all that well in HM. The level difference is too big, and hard hitting AoE wipes minions, plus they are much less effective.

Look at his build.
Does he have an attack skill?
If you set him to 'avoid battle' or 'defensive' and you don't give him an attak skill, like Deathly Swarm, he won't attack, and the his minions won't attack, either.
I've tested it many times, and with at last one 'target enemy' skill ,they work much better.

The reason I run out of corpses is because we have already cleaned the map out. Last time we were in kinya provence and only had three hordes left when he went "dee dee dee". Nothing left to kill and build him back up.

I am thinking Antheus may be right and its only pathing. My question is why is it only Olias that gets stuck. At least for me. Is it the minions body block him with the pathing? I thought minions couldnt body block allies.

It is definitely nothing that the OP is doing wrong. It happens to me too occasionally, for what looks like no apparent reason at all, MM build or not, and only to Olias.
There are many times I will be nearly a map across somewhere without having been paying attention, and I'll see Olias running up behind me from out of nowhere. I'm pretty sure I noticed it happening before the HM update but don't quote me on that. The last week has been a blur and I can't be positive.
