Anyone got any ideas on how you could solo this with a warrior? I am guessing like a judges insight cyclone axe/ triple chop war maybe.
I just thought it'd be a good idea since people used to farm it for purple sephis axe's before maybe now you can get golds off the first few easy groups.

I've ran and failed that quest at least 6 times (with heroes) and haven't seen any good drops, they're significantly worse than what you'd expect in HM or can find in gates of kryta. Those level 1 skeletons now being 23 (but not having updated loot tables) may have something to do with it.

For a Rit/R with Barrage/Vwk, no...mob speed boost.
For a Mo/D with Mystic Regen...yes...but...

I don't know about the Rt/R build (I believe that it only has 25% speed boosts, excluding NS) but I have been running the Turai's Procession margonite build on my R/Rt in HM for some time now, with no problems on the speed matter. But it does of course use only 33% speed boosts (NS, Dodge & Zojun's Haste).
Though I can't test it, since my ranger completed the quest a long time ago

Those Margonites (Protect the Learned) chase me forever, and never return to their group..and I use th 33% boost properly. Maybe they just hate me.
As for the Undead Hordes...they drop nothing for me...on either of my accounts. Waaaaay back when, they dropped for the first two-ish runs, then nothing since. Kinda odd.
EDIT: For Turai's Procession, your character is slightly elevated above the mobs, giving him/her a longer range and flilght time. Maybe that's why you're not having any issues with the mobs chasing you.

The Undead Hordes quest in HM was not worth it for me. Killed all but the last group, and all I got was a white non-max dead bow and about 200g. Didn't care to try again after that.

I am going to try it as well. Maybe they already fixed the bug and have better drops then in Nebo or GoK..
