April fools came and passed. Anet changed the characters sex and we all had a good laugh. Now my friend is now telling me anet is thinking about putting it in the game because people liked it so much! Not sure if this is true or not. But what i do know is people have been asking for along time to be able to change hair style. So Anet please think about hair before thinking about the ability to change the sex of our characters. I don't know about you but i'm pretty happy playing male characters, i have no desire to play a chick warrior. However i would like something besides my mohawk to look at.

Your friend is mis-informed. ANet said the exact opposite really. Individual changes are too complicated at the moment (I believe the word used was "impossible" but that's more of a "given the scope of.." type reference).

Unless the developers devise some ingenious, yet simple method or they find themselves with so much time they don't know what to do, you probably won't see them repeal the statement of "not going to happen."

Edit: And I found the quote for reference, the word used was "impossible."

Yes it is very complicated at the time and ANET does not have much time to be making new hair style NPC's. Also, Please use the search engine.

I would like to be able to dye hair on some of my chars so they match armor colour. Don't want to change sex or hair style though on any of my chars.
