hi there
I saw the rihlon spider farm and the monk byzz farm where you have to hide behind a wall and the enemys kill themselfes cause of ss. now my question, are there any other places where you can farm like this? on hardemode are these methods really nice for getting tomes. I hope you can help me and we are able to find more places like this

hmm tried my best, but i dont get the right way or position to farm them alive can u post your build and screens how you farm them?

BUT...
You hafta fight through at least one group of Wardens to get to them.... and then Zarn Stonewrath is a seriously nasty piece of work if he catches sight of you (with a crap green)....

if you got more luxon faction than kurzick, speak to the guards and fight, ten u will spawn at the res shrine, u can walk to the bosses np without fighting any groups, il post some screens later, not on gw atmo.

But I think I get what you're saying.

If the Kurzicks own the res-shrine right by the entrance to Arborstone... and you die immediately, you'll be resurrected at the next-nearest res-shrine... right? That'd be the one by Craw Stonereap.... as I recall...

Then again... you might as well at least try to fight the Wardens first...



Thing is.... in Normal Mode I've fought those three bosses a great many times... but I find it particularly difficult to get into a position where they can't actually hit me... especially with Zarn Stonewrath. That guy is nasty as hell.

For Zarn, wait til he walks out of thhat ally way, then use a long bow and hit him, then hide behind the wall were stonereaper is.

Makdeh the Aggravating is a mesmer boss you can use that SS scheme to kill, he's right outside Chantry of Secrets and has an Inspiration Magic offhand, but you will have to get through 2 groups of Kournans and 1 group of Beetles, plus you have to kill everything else in his group first and flag heroes/henches away, after that there is a rock right by where he spawn that you can use to hide from his range attacks.

For Grawl Stonereap, Zarns' Stone Wrath and Meril Stone Weaver I find it easier to use a Domination Mesmer with Backfire and Empathy plus some degens instead of SS, since SS is more effective with crowds.

This might sound like an odd thing to say.... but not everyone has a level 20 PvE Mesmer with access to Arborstone and the necessary set of skills.

However, the vast majority of people do have a Necromancer that fits those criteria...
I mean... great for the primary Mesmers.... but indeed the only two characters I have with access to Arborstone are my Assassin and Necromancer. ^_^;;

what about your screens rabit ? and are there any other ranger bosses with henchs like the rihlon spiders, where you can farm like that?
