In light of the new loot system and Anet's stated intent to focus more on sellable items, I *really* wish Anet would focus on a better transaction system than spamming. It's irritating, inefficient, frustrating, and really not fun to do. Very time-consuming and unsophisticated compared to auction systems in most other MMOs.
I know this is a long-standing request, but this is really an area where GW is sorely lacking. And now Anet has moved the game more towards more transactions, putting greater strain on an already insufficient system. Comments? Anyone think this will ever happen?
Is spamming in Kamadan the best Anet can come up with?

They tried putting in an alternative to spamming: The Search button.
Nobody uses it. -_-;
And because nobody uses it, nobody else feels inclined to use it.
Of course, I use the Search function at every given oppurtunity in the hopes that my example could cause it to catch on, but it never does. At the most I end up telling all the spammers that it is there and they use it for all of 2 minutes before giving up.
I figure if A-Net put in better filters in Local Chat against folks typing different forms of "WTS" and "WTB" ... and more importantly discouraged any Copy+Paste sales by preventing the same message being posted twice... people would be more encouraged to use the Search feature.
But yeah... something has to be done about it.
