Just want to throw this out there.
Experiencing horrendous lag for the past 2 days.
Just had an Entire party that experienced lag in Abbadon's Mouth on Euro server and International district.
Latecy went from 350 to about 800-1000 2 days ago and with spikes to 100000+.
This is really getting to me.
Please would someone just explain to us out there, fighting for the light, if and when ANet is having problems or issues regarding their servers or any other technical difficulties that might influence their customers' enjoyment of the game.
Stupid lag, again or still?

I was part of that mess .. This was my ping yesterday in Iron Mines of Moladune(Hard Mode): http://img409.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ping1vr7.jpg
And we now wasted 2 very frustrating hours and it all ended in tears/party wipe, mainly due to the bad lag the WHOLE party had. Ping Abbadon's Mouth(Hard Mode):

Keep sending support tickets if you're having these problems, especially if you're in Europe or playing on European servers. If Alex is reading the same stuff most of us are, there's something not right over in Europe.

Grrrr.... still experiencing lag. When I play GW between 12 am and 6 am everything is fine.... but as soon as things start getting busy my ping goes bang out the window. I'm playing with a ping of between 200 and 450ms, which is what I'm used to. And then I get these fluctuations where it jumps to 1000ms +. Submitted a ticket, alas, it was closed. The advise I got was that I should try and close all background apps as a "test" to see where the problem is. I don't think it's my PC. Im usually at around 60fps except when in a busy district. It then drops to like 25fps. But hey, what do I know. I used to play GW between 2 and 4 hours a day, I'm on 1 hour a week now

Don't hold your breath! ANet refuse to admit that there's even a problem! I've been submitting tickets for months now, and all I get back is the same "oh it must be your ISP/connection" crap! Well it isn't my ISP as they've been checking into this for me, and many other users too, for quite some time and have found out that it's nothing to do with them at all.
They suggested that I should contacy Guild Wars support! Can't help but laught at that really, considering it's what I've been doing for months now with no avail.

Same sh*t here... stopped doing supporttickets, because anet doesnt seem to care.
Since the 5 april update my bags even lag (often takes apx 5 seconds before my items show up)...
Since the last "server mantainance" i really have some serious lag and many error7's.
I dont have a clue what anet is doing but they do a very sh*tty job

I've seemed to have firgured out the problem...
My problem seemed to be threefold:
1. My ISP is complete crap sometimes (seems to be most of the times)
2. Ran a tracer to the ANet server, and their is insane lag on some of the European routers. (30+hops O.o)
3. ANet server has a problem of some sort which we have no idea of.
Now my lag seems to stem from any 1 of these or in extreme cases all of it.
Regarding point 3; it would really be helpfull for ANet to have a server status window on their or NCSoft's window. This would really help with diagnosing the cause of lag at any given moment.

Last weekend me and my husband tried to play, but if we managed to load in a town and we try to go out to do a quest or mission either I would get a 007 or he would. We called it quits after 2 hours of trying to do anything. I also think that there could be a problem with Anet's servers, because we have a very decent internet connection and brand new pc's.
PS We're on the European server, something must be up!
