A buddy of mine account is on suspension for inappropriate character name. Will he lose the character or are there provisions for renaming the toon. He has the title "Kind of A Big Deal" and I was wondering if ANet just deletes the toon.

Once his suspension is over, he MUST change his character name to unblock that character. ANet has a one-time-only process to do this at his request. This is the only time and only reason you can change a character's name.

ArenaNet has stated that they never delete a character; it is blocked only.
