Moving characters

My nephew and I have recently joined GW and we have began the long task of developing our characters, because we are using the same account and are developing separate characters my question is if one of us opens another account under their own name can we shift the already developed character to that new account or do we have to start again? Because we are sharing an account does this mean we cannot be online at the same time?

nope moving characters to other accounts is impossible. you will have to start again.


im not sure about your other question but im gonna say its not possible....

1. No transfer of characters between accounts; no transfer of account to other person allowed.

2. Only one active log-in at a time. If someone else logs in while game is active, it will shut down the running game.

I shared an account with my brother and sister back when they were still trying out Guild Wars, and yeah, you can't be logged on at the same time. Only one person can log in, otherwise it kicks out the person who logged in first and lets the second person play.

And no, you can't transfer characters. I'd suggest getting another account before you get too far with the character development. It's not fun deleting a level 20 character.

Getting a new character to level 20 isn't all that hard, but losing your nice armor , captured skills, customized weapons, etc. is no fun.

At least you can get a good price on the older chapters now.
