GW2 Beta sign-up scam!?!

Ok So I was at "You Tube" and watched a few Guild Wars videos when some guy commented there were beta sign-ups for GW2 and provided the below link.

Someone needs to shut these jerks down, asap!

I agree, I just can't believe the person who made the site has the nads to do that.

I spent about 20 minutes entering in as many false email/passwords as I could type, heh, maybe they'll spend an hour or so trying to login to those fake accounts!

....what a pity. (Don't ask who I'm refering to.)

Most likely some people will given theyre email and pass (if you did quickly change password of gw acount])
who knows they might already have 10 guild wars acountnames and passwords :/

Yea, i hate when people post these scams, thanks for the heads up. But, you can tell when they are scams and when they are not sine ANET/Nc Soft would never post on youtube.

well u can give your email adress to anyone but giving your password also =NOOB its like i would ask u can u borow me your visa credit card but could u also give me your pin like lol man

lol.... haven't even started GW:EN alpha yet.... looooong way away from any official word on GW2 beta...

The page, which was removed for obvious reasons, was funny.
It had the picture/logo for Guild Wars 2, and the logo actually said, "GUILD WARS 2 EYE OF THE NORTH".

I'm sure any smart player would know the difference, and I feel sorry if anyone actually attempted to sign up.

umm gwen is already in alpha, and due for release at end of year

gw2 however is completly sealed up and only being worked on by staff.. unsure of tester status atm

eitherway i DOUBT either game will go to public beta

starts later this month for gwen alpha, the 15th I believe

Hah I don't know where you get your information but if they aren't already in alpha, then we won't be seeing GW:EN until some point in 2008.

they're in internal testing I'm sure, just no players yet.
keep in mind GWEN isn't a full campaign. theres no new classes or anything, so likely less to test.

as their is no release for a public alpha or beta, nor accepting applications TO alpha or beta test it, unless your currently a tester for them it would already be underway...

most if not all players know there are 2 teams working simeltaneously to bring out campaigns, and my guess would be 1 is working on gwen and the other is on gw2.. once the finish and release gwen all teams will work on gw2

my friend is a guildwars alpha tester... I don't know anything else about it with upholding the NDA and all, but all I do know is that it hasn't started yet.

It's funny when you realized there are a lot of people who still thinking that GW:EN and GW2 are the same game lol. From time to time you will see them posted on the forums even in game chats. These people, I believe they're working for NASA and had been on a Lunar expedition for the past 4 months.
