There was a thread a couple of weeks ago on 1hp farming with LS.
Its cute, but I'd use a dervish. Death blossom<<<<mystic sweep+eremite's attack

Is the ele version better than the dervish one?

This is interesting. I started playing with this build (what can I say, I'm a sucker for useless novelty builds) and I noticed that I was dying every so often for no obvious reason. I was 100% certain I wasn't letting LS run out, or getting interrupted, or degenned, or life-stealed, or anything of that sort, it was totally unexplainable. So I did some experimenting, and I figured out that under some circumstances, PS was losing its "first" status, so that the damage was going directly to LS without getting reduced to 1. I didn't realize this was possible; I thought that, as long as neither enchant ever expired, you could recast in any order and PS would always stay "first."
If you don't believe me, try this little experiment: Put on your 55 gear (16 prot, 20% enchant and -50 cesta) and go west out of Augury HM. Let that first devourer kill you, and when you rez with 1 hp, put up PS/LS and aggro the three minos. Then cast in the following order:
PS, LS, LS, LS, PS
No problems here. Now try this:
PS, LS, LS, LS, LS, PS
PS should be flashing (but not expired) when you cast it the second time. LS will disappear almost immediately, even though you've only been hit ten or twenty times since it was cast, and you'll die. I don't fully understand why, but I think it has something to do with waiting for PS to flash before recasting it. However, I'm not sure that's the whole story - I think I've seen this happen under other circumstances, too. If anyone can explain the underlying mechanism, or point me towards an article, I'd be grateful.
Edit to add: Like I said, I don't fully understand what's going on here, but as near as I can tell, if you *always* precede your LS with a PS, this never happens. So if you don't care about the underlying mechanism and just want to try this as a farming build, just get in the habit of hitting PS, LS one right after the other, and you should be okay.

Hmm, but when you keep killin something you get your DP drop down, which in HM get's quite fast, and you have to die almost every foe than... isn't this true ?

this wont work in uw

Yeah, this is a boss farming thing. Still interesting though. This is one of the few solo builds that actually use dagger chains.

uverworld=bomb (only song i know is from bleach anime sry haha). cool build, but wouldn't killing off the mob take away dp from you and mess up the PS+LS combo?
byteme!
The concept is good but the idea of having to suicide over and over and over again to keep my HP low really hinders this type of build. Your 1hp is gone in 1-2 kills if you happen to be in hard mode. Too slow and tedious to walk back from res shrines after each death. It's probably best used to solo bosses rather then to solo mobs. I'd stick to the old 55 way of doing it simply because it's more flexible and faster. Also take into account you need to rely of Life Sheath (elite) which hinders your offense that much more due to lack of an elite offensive skill.
*I just thought of this just as I was typing this up*
You could stack superior runes and use a -50 cesta to drop your hp to 55 first then die til you're -60dp. Should be enough to kill of a number of monsters before your HP finally breaks the 1hp barrier.
