In order to do this farm, you must have the Quest: The Hoylcon Job, Recieved from Cpt Lexis in Cavalon. (Hes by storage)
Here is some of the items you will be farming.
Weapon i use :
any weapon will do, enchantment wep will be best.
do not use and wep with HCT Earth magic, it will disrupt the combo.

Now Enter Hardmode.
Ok, we start from:
Then follow this path:
The Farm:
When u get to the Res Shrine you will see a Bridge.
walk across it about half way, and 4 Luxon Assassins will pop up.
Cast your Armor buffs and wait for them to attack you.
Cast your skills 1-2-3-4
then they will scatter, quickly recast ur armor buffs and then use Aftershock until there dead.
Walk Across the Bridge and you will see a Canthan Peasant right infront of you, thhats were the next pop up is.
Asoon as they pop up cast your enchants. wait for them to attack you and repeat the process.
When thhere dead, walk over to the canthan Noble were more pop ups are.. kill them and move on.
Directly opposite from were u came is another Canthan Peasant, walk over to him for the next group.
When there dead walk between the 2 houses following the path. 4 Assassins will pop up, repeat process of killing them.
in front of you, you will see another Noble, walk up to him and 6 Assassins should pop up. if not walk left and right to make them spawn.
kill them with the processes above.
You WILL Take damage, but with AoR you will survive each mob.
This can be done in normal mode, and its alot easier, u can aggro every single Assassin, so its alot faster, but most of there golds are non max.

@ lacasner, it can be done with a monk/necro in normal mode np, as they dont run.
not tried it in HM with monk or necro.

ok, i came up with a build for warrior to farm JUST THE ASSASSINS (its still well worth it)
Vengeful was Khanhei
Vengeful Weapon
Bonnetti's Defence
Healing Signet
Dolyak Signet
Deadly Riposte
Sprint
Enraging Charge
12 restoration
9 tactics
11 strength
when the assins pop up, wait a few seconds, then use dolyak and VwK, use vengeful weapon whenever it is recharged, and deadly riposte when possible. 1 and 1/2 VwK's should kill all the assins, and you can pick up your drops repeat for other groups
(i just did a run: 8 minutes, 17 seconds , 3 gold armor, 5 cupcakes, 1 jade shard, 7800xp)
i usually get a gold armor and a few purples per run, and a run takes like 7-10 minutes. it also helps to bring a lockpick every run, as there is almost always a locked chest on the run there.

Are those golds from the Locked Chest nearby or by the Luxon Assassins? Did about 10 runs, only got white/purple runes and other junk.

Nope, all them golds are from the Assassins.
they are still pretty rare, ur not gnna get a gold within a few runs

You have two choices a) keep running b) dont aggro them. I keep plan b) the best, I avoid the oni spawns altogether.

If I aggro the Onis, I just cast Prot Spirit really fast and run away. They actually break aggro rather quickly.

An Oni farm would be tough. None of these builds would work because of shadow shroud. A warrior or maybe Shadow Form sin might work

Even if the onis kill you, you're taken to the rez shrine by the bridge. Just take off the -50 cesta and lose the DP from the first group. -15% and even -30% DP can be worked off rather easily in HM.

Well usually I get purple and maybe one gold garb, I hate it when I get those outa locked chest also, but I got a nice platinum domination staff, an air staff and lots of birthdaycakes and sin tomes ^^
It's a nice spot, easy to farm, but sometimes those 6 sins at the end are to much, but you can take em in groups of 3

I got a Sup Vigor from a locked Chest in that farm, and got a Fire plat Wand from an assassin. them 6 sins at the end ain't so hard if you use Geomancer armor.

I figured every guy on the face of the planet would have done that quest by now. I've done it with all my characters that have even been to the area, and the next nearest (my monk) is a bloody long way away from being able to access the quest ...

question, do they scatter from silver armor+shockwave? or does it just not kill them (if they have healing to counter?). im thinking of an all earth build with ebon hawk, glowstone, stoning, aftershock =] will report with what i come up with, though i warn it will be a lot slower haha
