Well, hello hello!

First things first. Here's a pic I did this weekend of my necro, Armand Blackgate wearing 15k Necrotic Armor and doing what necros do best - using his life's blood to fuel the deadliest of spells. Full and Detail:

Ink and Photoshop When a warrior bleeds you press the attack...when the necro bleeds prepare yourself for the death wave to follow.

I am a huge fan of GW and absolutely love the character design. Problem is, I find my self playing for a few months then quitting for a while every year. Why? Farm fatigue. I just want to enjoy the game. Plus, while I'm farming I always feel like I could be doing something better with my time. I noticed this forum and realized I may have found the solution. Commission art.

You guys love your characters and this game as much as I do. Doing commissions will give me a reason to start drawing a lot again (it's been months since I've felt like drawing).

Here's more of my non-GW art:

Ink and Photoshop

Color pencil, Photoshop

Well, that's a taste of what I like to do. This thread is a test really so don't request anything just yet. A simple Yeah or Nay will suffice. If I see enough interest I will open an official thread that will help you all keep track of my work status. The thread will also detail what I do and what I do not do. My work will be a bit exclusive as I don't have all the time in the world these days...

Talk to you soon...

I like these alot actually, kinda disappointed you arent doing commissions. It's like a mix of the dark comic style meets webcomic dimensions.

I second what morag said awesome! Even 50k would get u numerous customers ^^ hence, even 100k, thats what greyfox asked, and he got many requests aswell. These are certainly worth it.

I guess I could put it out that I would be charging no less than 100k for each commission. But that is mainly because I don't want to do work for the casual fan. I'm looking for the players that breathe life into their characters. It inspires me to push farther...

Thanks for the interest so far!

Seems like this will work out, so everyone please be on the lookout for my official thread I will post later this week.

It pains me to see artists who charge way too little for their precious time and work. Your artwork looks really good, and I love those poses <3.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as tommarrow... Would love to have some of that art but the GW Gods of wealth do not smile upon me.

Whoa hadn't checked this forum properly for a while. That's a really cool original style you have there. Love your use of the natural mediums like inks and and the color pencil drawing. That one I would probably like more without the artificial 'photoshop' background. I think it would stand out more by itself. The shading is beautiful.

Great pictures.

Hey, thanks for the critique. I agree with you, the color pencil one probably would go better without the photoshop. I did that one a few years back when my enthusiasm for glows was still a bit unchecked. If I could find the original PSD file, I probably would have altered it. Simple is definitely sometimes better!

Very nice

I love how you portrayed the Necro's saccing abilities with him cutting his wrists, although it looks well (although that makes me think hes an emo necro XD)

I really need to learn how to draw -.-
Meanwhile its stickman and geometric stuff for me

mmmm , yumy things you've got there mate!
It's great! Dark shadows of comic book style + digital painting and mood and lightning everything looks awsome, and regarding you are not doing realystic style your anathomy also can take a go!
I love it...
And concerning a payment...hell yeah charge 100k... You have a skill and talent...so make use of it!

Oh and one more thing... I can bet you, that that necro would look 100 times better if you splash just a little of white airbrush over his shoulder instead of that neon Glow filter or whatever it is. Don't take this critique too much personal, I just have a way of telling what buggs me, and I realy hate when I see, great painting, where everything is done manualy, to be screwed up with computered-softweared-help... (help my a$$) Raw, wild, and primal drawing is what gives a life to a painting!
Cheers!

Cheers! Hmm. I'm on the fence about it. Sometimes I like the digital look, sometimes I don't. The glow is just a white airbrush on a screen layer in Photoshop. I can definitely see the benefit of doing a scratchy white texture as oppossed to the glow. Heh. Guess it depends on the mood. I think I will try that other technique and see how it turns out.

Thanks for the crit and I love your work!
