Quality Control for Ads?

Can we get a little quality control on the ads please?I shouldn't have to explain myself when reading through this forum. Yeah, I know I can pay to get ads removed...they really haven't bothered me...until now. From over my shoulder I hear "What the hell are you reading?" And spend the next few minutes catching shiit for this ad being up....I don't need the grief. I don't find it particularly offensive, but when I'm talking to my 11 year-old nephew and 8 year-old neice about Guild Wars and talking about the forum, I shouldn't have this pop up as their mom (my crazy sister-in-law) happens by...A little quality control please! Anyone else have a problem with this?

The AD server, is just that, a server, and every now and again the AD provider lets some of the possibly more risqué ADs slip through. It is just a matter of us weeding them out....like that banner AD for that movie 300!

As stated, offensive, risque, or otherwise problematic advertisements do slip through occasionally, but they are pulled as the administrators become aware of them.

To the best of my knowledge, though, a URL is necessary in order to quickly find and filter them. If you see this advertisement again, please grab the link and post it here.

Everyone, I am working even now on getting this taken care of. I apologize that these have been up for the last week and am working on seeing that they are removed.

Ide: You da Man! I showed your post to my psychotic sister-in-law and she is on her way to forgiving me for exposing her children to "porn"...ugh...not that I consider it so, but some have finer sensibilities than myself. Thanks for the effort!

I have noticed a few funny Ad's when roaming around here, I find it more amusing than anything else. But for a parent or a person who has kids around, I'm positive there have been ads that could be considered offensive.

I guess, if a few of the moderators could inspect the Ads before they pop-up? I'm guessing they are randomly generated.

No, they ad agencies just aren't nice enough to send us previews before they're displayed. I think we got most of them today though. If you see anymore please post here with the link that it goes to and a screenshot.
