Sunspear points...maxed but still earning

Anyone know why or have any ideas on why we can keep earning them past the max tier leverl?

Currently I have 65,615 sunspear points, yet max tier is 50,000.

Does it show full bar on your Title page, and just keeps counting the points, or have you started a new bar?

Why do you still farm those points then?

not really farming them....getting vanquisher title....and that's mainly what rez priest offer

Its same with alcohol drinking, you have a full bar at 10000minutes, but after drinking, you still earn minutes after that. I think its normal. I saw a guy who had maxed treasure hunter and the title indicator showed 10600+ chests opened while the indicator was at full scale. I think its normal that you can earn these points toward these titles after you've already maxed to the highest tier.

It would be nice if they gave you an exp bonus still.

Yeah I have 50,490 points now from quest rewards and stuff.

Yea i believe it keeps going and doesn't stop so that you can still earn the points and have max title. When they up the title your title will go up with it, so i believe that might be why they do that.

This just shows how easy it was for Anet to make it so that you keep gaining points after max.... gg guys, shame it's 3 months too late.

It does this after getting Legendary Survivor too, up until you die.

I was hoping they would give a prize for most sunspear points after that double weekend. Oh well. 100K sunspear points and counting. DOUBLE the max title....

Actually, it has become quite easy to rack these points up in a hurry with hard mode and using worms....
