I played quite a bit this weekend... alot of solo (+4 heroes) in NF and some group quests in various countries...
I only got a total of 11... (Seems the drops are very rare)

I got 37 or so simply by playing the game. Luckily, my ranger just made it over to Prophecies, so soloing the early missions produced quite a bit of them.

Got 152 atm, dropped during my farm runs and drop rate seems to be related to a area. Gates of kryta dropped quite a lot of these for me

This question is a little premature, as they're still dropping for another four and a half hours or so.

got a full stack of 250 +some more that i got after that, if im lucky ill get back and they'll still keep dropping for me

I got around 160 from drops. Vanquished North Kryta Province, Nebo Terrace, Talmark, Tears of the Fallen, Majesty's Rest, and Sage Lands while america had favor. Dropped a shitload more often when america had favor(on average just under 1 per group)

Started a character from scratch in Nightfall this weekend made it to level 16 before I quit. Killed anything and everything in my path and only 9 b-day cakes ouch. Saw people spamming 250 b-day cakes for sale and thought WTF am I doing wrong??????????

Did you ahve henchies with you?? Because they probably got ur cupcakes. Try solo-ing, you will get more b/c Cupcakes(as with all event items) are not subject to the new loot scaling policy. I did it when i had favor and got a lot more.

around 22 cupcakes as drops and I do not plan to gain more thru farming as I have around 430k of luck points(last time I checked few hours ago...) and I plan to get to 500k lucky points before this event is over with. sorry but I do not like leaving my pc on at nights :P

I got 22 over the weekend. I also got another one this morning as a thank you gift from a newbie after I gave him some of the materials he needed for his first armor upgrade after leaving pre.
