Guild Hall Banners

Just to spruce up the guild hall, wouldn't it be nice if you could hang up little banners?
I mean, sure there'll be a limit to how many you have, but I think it'd be cool if we could put little quotes, names, guild rank, etc. on them.
Like above the guild lord there could be a banner saying, "We're The Shiz" or something...
It's just an idea to put a festoon in the hall. Make it PRETTY!

a guild banner that matches cape would be cool. then in gvg each teams guild could be over each side.

Because its hard enough to keep track that your guild is one color, and the other guild is another, we need banners too?

no, because I expected our guild-cape to be used as banner when we bought our guild-hall...

thats why we need banners :-)

it's our guildhall... it's our guildcape... it's the only freakin' thing that would make my guildhall look different from my next-door neighbours guildhall... (which shouldn't be to hard to implement, although I cannot make any kind of accurate statement on the complexity of the needed coding)

This would disappointingly only be an option for the guild lord. As we all know there are people out there who think they're funny as a member and start spamming banners when they can come up with the money.

The following idea has been ripped from Diddy Kong Racing for Nintendo DS.

Put blank "chalkboards" on the walls and then the Guild Leader or Officer can free draw using his/her mouse, like the mini map.

Oh yea, banners would be nice. I don't quite remember who said it but if you're red team then your banners would turn red, simple as that -.-

Your example "We're the shiz" is exactly why Guild Wars would never do something like this. Just my opinion. And most likely Guild Wars' opinion too.

Guild hall add ons = i want them.

Not sure this is exactly what you had in mind, but I was a bit disapointed when the default red banners in my "Isle of Weeping Stone" hall didn't turn into *at*least* my guild colours (if not the actual cape design) when I bought the place.

I mean, it kindof seems like an unfair tease having banners that are already there yet are forever going to clash w/ the decor. ;P

Did you want me to put up something better?
Because I didn't really care, it's just an example, not what people would put up on the banners.
