AB in PvP Edition?

I was thinking of buying the Factions PvP Edition but will this edition allow me to play Alliance Battles? Or are ABs restricted to PvE characters only?
I own the Prophecies and Nightfall campaigns already.

yes, pvp edition has access to AB
