Anyone else get the Golden title this weekend?

Just wondering how many of us managed to get there

not yet but i'll be there son enough, the time to retain 50picklocks and i'm there and i just need to destroy 130picklocks to be tragic aswell.

I'm far more interested in Tragic for my necro. But I am still about 7,000 points away from getting there. I'm playing the cheaper game as it is easier to get loss points. Still a ways away from the 3rd tier of the lucky track. It takes forty lock pick failures to get 1,000 unlucky points and that is 60,000 g. I might just wait for the next festival and do lockpicking while I can.

Well Ill be honest and say Im also shooting for the Unlucky title , just seems like it is going to take even longer than the lucky variant. I think Im at just short of 70K, Ill post a screenie when i get home.

I got Tragic this weekend and while I was working on that finished up that last few minutes I needed for drunkard too. With the issues we had in the beginning I wasnt sure if I would make it having lost around 1000 unlucky points from the rollback issue. But thankfully they extended it for a day and that let me get the last points I needed.

Miles off. I've been very intermitent with these weekends. The first i skipped completely... others i couldn't attend at all or joined in on intermitantly. Upto 380k atm, up about 200k from last week.

Seems to me like for the majority this title won't be maxable... Retaining Lockpicks is hardly an effective way to max it.

Well considering just about every title requires some sort of payment, whether its money, time, patience or commitment, still comes down to the same thing at the end of the day...

Time and patience and commitment, yes. But not money. The Vanquisher title, the Explorer title, Fame (which requires some 'farming'), Lightbringer, Sunspear, or Kurzick/Luxon do not require money to acquire.

Yes, they all technically are farmed, but at least I don't see a hit in my gold bag.

I don't think it is the same thing....
Some titles require money/or are way easier to do with money. Protector Titles, Guardian Titles Allegiance Titles etc do not require cash, but does require time and skill. Time=money is only true if you're a gold farmer. I wonder how many ppl ebay'ed their way to some of these titles?

Legendary Defender and Protector titles are "free" as well.

I understand what you are saying Slainster, but Gold is Gold. Some of us want our Titles and our money, too!

SuperDave You can Ebay the gold, but you still have to open chests, unlock Elites, identify Golds, drink alcohol, eat sweets, and stand on Circles. True, some require less skill than others, but all require a significant amount of time, even if Lucky/Unlucky can be AFK...

u farm 250.000 kurzick points and u donate to your alliance gaining 250.000 points in your track. one might say that those points had a cost for u. u spent 250amber to have 250.000 points in your track.

Gratz on the Golden I had never cared about the Lucky title track until they made the lockpicks based on that and treasure hunter :P

So I started this weekend, and managed to get Charmed, that will tide me over until the next AFK event weekend lol

There's a bunch of people out there that have Golden. I WAS in the running to be one of the first to hit it, but some bad disconnects left me behind the pack back in the earlier festival runs.

I'm 90k short of Golden.
