1 ecto/run for me
Sometimes I do 6-7 runs without ectos and sometimes I get 3 ectos in a run. So you just are unlucky

You are unlucky. That's all.

I made 2 smite runs with my W/Rt this morning before coming to work:

1st run = 3 ecto
2nd run = 1 ecto

Other days I have dry spells = it's all variable.

Meh.... some things / people are apparently just not hit by the anti-farming....
In the case of people it could just be down to what precisely they're doing and how many enemies they kill. As for the things.... no clue.
My Necro has the anti-farming code down on her hard right now....

I guess I'm going to have to earn her more kills per outing somehow.

For the last time! There is NO SUCH THING as "mass overfarm".

How many people farming an area DOES NOT effect INDIVIDUAL drops. Proof? Why would SO MANY botters farm the same place if even 30 of them made drops poor for the rest of them?

And yes...there are hundreds of threads like this;

Mass overfarming no longer effects droprates, (farming code). Thus, there is no such thing currently as a "overfarm".
