How do I find my own posts in reply to threads ?

A week or so ago I made a post ranting about problems I see with an AFK store system, using maple story as my basis. I now want to link to that post, but I'm unable to use the search system on guru to find that post. I was referencing maple story, so doing a search for "Maple Story" (a phrase I did use exactly in that post) should turn up the thread. It doesn't, instead I get 7 threads the latest of which is jan 07.

Clicking my name in a thread and choosing "find more posts by bilateralrope" only turns up threads I've started myself, but the post I'm after was a reply. If I go to my profile and click on "Find all posts by bilateralrope" or "Find all threads started by bilateralrope" I get:

Quote:
bilateralrope, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
So can someone please either find that post for me, or tell me how to find it. Now if a solution seems obvious to you please test it before telling me how much of an idiot I am for missing it.

Welcome to the now crappy search system of GWG. Been crappy since the major change about 9 months ago. Still unhappy with it.

This was actually getting very annoying for me also. If you forget to bookmark a page you wanted to see again, more then likely you will never find it again just because of how bad the searching has become. I am still not sure why we can't find our own posts either :/
