Heros - Do low level ones get XP when ...

Do low level heros get xp when I kill stuff that is at
their level but I get 0 xp because I am higher level?

Yeah they do. And if you're killing lv20 monsters and the heroes are lv15, they will level up a lot faster as well. Also when you finish the quests before you take the reward, put the hero that you wish to lv up in the party and they will get the xp as well.
