Changing my secondry skill..(Pets)

My secondry skill is Ranger, and I have a dire pet. If I change my secondry to Mesmer and then change back later to Ranger, will my pet still be there ? I know my ranger skills will still be available, but I'm worried about my pet.

Your pet won't go anywhere when you change secondary professions. He'll still be there when you switch back.
