Hi guys, I'm getting tired of the old 15^50 20/20 +30 swords and axes and I'm looking for something unique, which apparently Factions and Nightfall doesn't have. I rather like the random items that collectors have such as Fytch in the Eastern Frontier who offers a "Runic Shield" that gives +5 energy.
Can anyone else find some truly unique items?

If you look at the collectors lists on guildwiki ull soon find there is infact few Collectors (except in Tryia) that offers ur typical style weapons, there are loads of others such as while enchanted weapons or + 5 energy weapons etc.

some weps in old asc offer a 20%+ dmg vs char, also note that they are salvagable last i heard that is. keep that in mind for EotN

A personal fav of mine is my monks wep.
Longsword: (low, low dmg) no req +5 armor HSR 5%, but it has the crystalline sword skin.
It's from pre-searing, easy as shit to get, you get it from the moa quest i believe, but you can convice people its a crystalline if they dont look at it in trade, and no one ever uses it (you can get much better, but its not bad)

Yes because its all about having the Illusion of Wealth... and wielding a very shitty looking weapon just because its rare, even though the mods are pretty poor...
Why do people constantly hinder themselves with that weapon just to 'look wealthy'.

theres a shield with +10al vs elemental, +10 vs charr outside one of the first outposts of propheties, pretty good if you go Mo/W and are lazy switching when pvping
