Hi ppl=]
I'm thinking of buying Nightfall, but before I do so, I have a question:
I currently own Prophecies, and finished the PVE campaign with 4 characters. If I travel to Elona in order to play the Nightfall campaign with my old characters, Where would I land? I don't want to miss the whole story by getting near the end of the story, but It would also be ridiculous to encounter lvl 5 enemies with my lvl 20 characters.
I would like to know exactly where I land, and how many missions would i miss if I do so.
Thanks in advance!

Kamadan. The first major city in Elona, story wise.

You actually miss very little of the story line by going from Prophesies to Nightfall. The other way around you lose alot more (but still not a ton).
You land in Kamadan, the main city of the game. You have a few quests and you start on the 4th mission of the campaign, which takes you from the tutorial island (Istan) to the mainland.
Think of it as similar to skipping Pre-Searing. Thats not a 100% equal comparison but its close enough, especially if you were like me and beat everything in Pre-Searing lol.

well i never left Pre-Searing before finishing all the quests=]
I'm just worried that i will have to fight low lvl monsters with my completed characters which will probably be kinda lame.

You would arrive in the the city of Kamadan. There are a total of 20 missions but because the storyline branches at multiple points, you are not required to do all of them to finish the main story. There are 26 quests and 14 missions you will need to do to complete the game. You would miss out on the first 3 missions, although you can still complete them but you will get the message along the lines of you will be reliving the events of the past.

You'll pretty much start out fighting high level enemies right away. I think there are 2 quests that may involve fighting some low level groups but they are short and after that you fight high level enemies.
