Mini Pets - Too Mini?

None of the mini pets seem to scale against each other in a consistant fashion, presumably to stop the larger createres being huge and the smaller ones being invisible, But at present, all the 'popular' pets, seem to be the larger ones.

I was looking forward to seeing the Gwen mini pet, but she is almost non existant, a fate which all of the human figures seem to suffer, (with the possible exception or Rurik, who is a little portly) and was particularly apparent with the first version Varesh mini pet.

Can we have larger mini pets please? - not in proportion to each other, but a standard half player character size.

Half player character size? You mean like some ranger pets? Eh...

I think that's too large... Extremely.

But I do think that it would be nicer if they were a little bit larger. Just enough to see some of the details better.

I agree, it's too large. If the Gwen minipet were this size, it would be a normal Gwen.

I'd like to have larger pets myself, but considering that they've remained this size for quite awhile I seriously don't see them changing them.

if and only if minipets are 2x larger rather than being 1/2 of player height...

I don't really see a problem with them being 1/2 player size.

i do think that the mini pets would look good half the char size. but mini gwen would then look like life size gwen?
also, i believe everyone has considered this atleast once in the past and the abruptly turned the idea down, but fighting mini pets? they go into their battle 'stance' after an AoE knockdown gets them, but they dont fight back ^^...

Most of the newer minis are ~half the size of my monk. >.> They don't need to be any bigger.

They are called mini pets for a reason, they shouldn't be anywhere near the same size as Ranger pets.

Their fine as they are.

most are pretty good as they are, but I think some could do with being a tad bigger such as Shiro who looks tiny in comparison with some of the others.

I agree, maybe a teeny tiny bit bigger.. I can imagine a monk freaking out in the Crystal Desert. "OMG what are u guys doing, there's still hydras, why aren't u fighting!?" *Wammo puts away mini-Hydra* "sorry, my bad"

I think that they should at least have some kind of scale to them, and not all be the same size.

I think that is part of the current problem - trying to maintain some sort of scale, which is why some of the pets are so small.

As has been stated, a half size Gwen would almost be a full size Gwen, but if you're going to scale her (or any of the other human figures) against a dragon, she's only going to be a few pixels at most (or the dragon would need to be huge).
