Zenmai is confused & so am i

Ok, so i've been trying out a few builds for the hero Zenmai, but none have worked. Let's just say i'm not the assassinating type (i'm a monk hehe)
Anyway, my question is does anyone have any tips or builds that can help with Zenmai? She's kind of falling behind compared with my other heroes, so i'd like her to successfully kill something without dying lol

Otherwise, she can do competent interrupting and shutdown, but not much else, and she'll never be good.

Zenmai is best used as a critical barrager. Use keen arrow as well for a huge damage shot.

Zenmai loves to teleport, so don't bring those skills.

She also likes to move a bit then heal herself, sadly, she is not far enough away not to be a target, and dies trying to heal herself.

I find that she is a capable assassin, you still must watcher (just like any human assassin).

Be a protector or a bonder and she'll survive.

I never paid any attention to what skills she uses or doesn't use, but I do see her healing herself if she is near death. She seems to be kiling things quickly with the 3 dagger combo (obviously not bosses), and those she can't kill, she hurts pretty bad.

You want simple, fast-recharging dagger combos with damage reduction, not neccessarily healing. Something spammable like Black Mantis Strike--> Wild Strike --> Death Blossom, together with Critical Defenses or Flashing Blades.

She's dumb for chaining skills. "Exhausting Assault? what's that? Moebius Strike? lol!"


So yes, use simple lead-off-dual chains, with further utlility: dblow, ddagger etc.

You can farm Daggers of Xuekao rather easily, which gives 15^E, 20/20 and +20% e. duration. Use Nightstalker, Blessed or Sentry's Insignias on everything; they're all fairly cheap, and Nightstalker's is the most powerful, but isn't active quite as often as the others. Use a Rune of Vigor on the armor (Minor or Major are both fairly cheap, Superior is best). Use minor runes of Critical Strikes on the helm and Dagger Mastery on the gloves. Use runes of Vitae on everything else. If you'd like to risk it, use major / superior runes instead.
