do you have local admin access or enough disk space?


Start -> Control panel -> User Accounts
see if you are a computer administrator if you are then check your disk space if you have enough disk space then i would wonder if your folder permissions are screwed up.

Guild Wars main program file is over 2.6GB is size. There are a few systems out there that still uses FAT32 filing system, which...do not support file of this size. You need to be using NTFS filing system to install Guild Wars. To check this, go to My Computer -> right click on your C: drive and select properties. It should display the filing system that your C: drive is using.

If you're indeed using the old FAT32 filing system, then you'll have to reformat our disk to the new NTFS to be able to install Guild Wars.

PC: NTFS
Laptop: FAT32

Installed GW on both computers without any problems. (-image works fine too).

The only things that prevented me from installing GW were spybots and some firewalls. If you are using spybots with teatimer.exe, then disable it when you update GW it doesn't like some updates while some install just fine.
