I got very bored with playing a GFTE/Envy/anthem of flame spear Paragon in PVE so I decided to try the motivation line. After using it well throughout the Nightfall campaign, I sincerely think it is the most underrated attribute in the game.
Motivation 12 +1 +3
Leadership 9+1
Tactics 9
rest in Spear Mastery
1) Signet of Synergy (a decent free heal)
2) Watch Yourself! (Free energy, nice armor bonus, why not use it?)
3) Song of Restoration (overall damage mitigation)
4) Ballad of Restoration (same)
5) Aria of Restoration (questionable addition, can be replaced with mending refrain although aria helps in emergencies)
6) Finale of Restoration (can be useful when one particular party member is being ganked)
7) Shields Up! (In NF particularly ranger spikes are common so this certainly helps)
8) Signet of Return (best ressurection available)
As for equipment I use a Wandahlz's Refuge and a Spirit of the Forgotten but it doesn't particularly matter.
This may not have the raw healing power/spike prevention of a monk but it can outlast virtually any other class in sustained, longer battles. Energy is a non-issue and this build can go on healing forever without any problems.
This build is extremely effective on General Morgahn, for the hero AI knows how the use finale of restoration very efficiently. I use this on him with my full protection monk and the damage mitigation is very effective.
I appreciate your flames, comments, and criticism.

Saw an exact duplica of this build a looooong time ago on GuildWiki. It works well on General Morgahn. "Shields Up!" might be exchanged for something better, though, due to its recent nerf. It's not new, but it's not dumb either.

sig of return has rather long recharge time no?

In what way was Shields up! nerfed? I don't really go on forums or anything very often.
