Hey..

Myself and some guildies are trying to do the Dasha in HM but are getting bogged down by those damn Djin at the start...they are practically invincible to just beat to death even with a few meteor showers and hexes....
We tried trapping last night with 4 trappers (like UW) and they dont seem to get caught in the traps much ...merely float over the damn things and come and kick your backside into next week

Anyone else vanquished this area and got some ideas they used to do it please??

Had no problems here... BHA the Rubies/Ethers and kill them quickly. Blind the Sapphires and let anti-attack hexes go to town on the Diamonds.

As for the explorable... the same thing? Just with more luring to avoid popups. Only did the explorable with hench and that went horribly wrong on the 3rd mob thanks to a second Ruby popup.

Did I hear 7 heroes?

Like everything in Elona, I've found Shelter to be godsend. Keeps you up long enough to start dropping an enemy or two and then the rest of the mob should follow suit.

Edit: If I learned to read, the OP was vanquishing. Ignore the boss comment, as I thought he was doing the mission in HM.

I started bringing a Broadhead Arrow ranger on every mission that had ele bosses or other nasty casters. Makes even the most dangerous boss a level 3 charr. :P

I find it unfortunate that everything in hard mode is pretty much a game of prot spirit spam. The game is to keep up as many copies of prot spirit and guess correctly who is going to get targeted by the enemies and put a prot spirit on him or her before that happens. I suppose shelter will take the guess work out of it.

Hard mode is making me into a bonding addict. It's incredibly boring, but reliably quarters most damage and halves the rest - all the time.

Just Broadhead all the SF eles. Then it's easy as pie.

I just did it tonite with 1 player and 6 heroes. Didn't get scratched at all except for the last SF Ele boss right at the end, who almost made us wipe by killing 3/4 of the party in a few seconds. I think the first Broadhead we shot at him missed.

Me and my guildies done it this way: 600/smiter + 6 random chars (finishers)

sapphires and rubies are very easy, as long as you have the SB up, ethers are a bit harder but still doable.

EDIT: I was the 600, and i aggroed all 3 bosses at once, they went down in like 20 seconds, piece of cake =)
