Good updated PvE Build?
WoKeN
So I'm trying to get back into Guild Wars, since i quit back in 2005... And looking for a good updated PvE Warrior build. I've been searching the forums and that sticky looks rather old.. Someone mentioned it should even be claimed as bad advice... Right now i'm stuck at Hell's Precipice and trying to beat it. So I'm looking for a good detailed PvE warrior build, can anyone please help me? I kinda want to beat this game after having it for 2 years and never finishing it lol.

Updated? Heres some stuff that I use;
DSlasher
[card]Sun and Moon Slash[/card][card]Standing Slash[/card][card]Galrath Slash[/card][card]Silverwing Slash[/card][card]Dragon Slash[/card][card]Flail[/card][card]Lion's Comfort[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]
Fill up with adrenaline. Spam attacks in order from left to right while under IAS(Flail). Use Dragon Slash to refill adrenaline.
Triple Chopper
[card]Triple Chop[/card][card]Executioner's Strike[/card][card]Dismember[/card][card]Penetrating Blow[/card][card]Penetrating Chop[/card][card]Flail[/card][card]Lion's Comfort[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]
Basically the same thing, just use Triple Chop to hit a few targets for adrenaline gain rather than gain it from Dragon Slash.
------------------
Those two are fairly easy to play and fit in well with other party builds. Both use the 16 weapon mastery/9 Strength/11 Tactics attribute setup. You haven't mentioned what weapon you use or what campaigns you own, so I'll add an additional Axe build using only Prophecies skills(I'm assuming you have only Prophecies, seeing as you are in Hell's Precipice and stopped in 2005).
[card]Cleave[/card][card]Executioner's Strike[/card][card]Dismember[/card][card]Penetrating Blow[/card][card]Cyclone Axe[/card][card]Flurry[/card][card]Healing Signet[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]
Thats probably not the best build around but it's the best I could do with only Prophecies skills. Keep in mind I am a fan of Adrenaline, so if you don't like so many adrenaline attacks, change them for energy based ones(not recommended for the DSlasher). If you want, you can swap Lion's Comfort for Healing Signet or "Watch Yourself!"

Hey Marty, thanks for the very quick and very supportive response! Yeah i only have prophecies (those 2 expansions/stand alone games or whatever you call them are friggin expensive) not sure if i want to put anymore money into this game yet seeing that i don't like it that much right now lol. but i'm trying to give it another shot with what i got. I'm using Axe, thought sword wouldn't do much good in Hell's Precipice, so i have this axe that a friend gave me a long time ago when i used to play. lol i have to get some of those skills. damn lol well i guess i should get to that. Thanks again for the great help Marty! <3

Hey Marty, how did you get 16 weaponry/9 strength/ 11 tactics?
I can only get 12 axe, 9 strength, and 10 tactics lol... What am i doing wrong? And where is the best place to get Cleave elite skill?

You can get 16 in Axe Mastery by getting the helm that adds 1 to Axe Mastery and add a sup rune of Axe Mastery to the helm. 11 in Tactics is probably from a minor rune. Btw, you did both of the 15 attribute point quests right?
About Cleave, it seems like you only have Prophecies, so I'll list the places you can get'em:
Arlak Stoneleaf (Ice Caves of Sorrow)
Virag Bladestone (Ice Caves of Sorrow)
Marika Granitehand (Iron Mines of Moladune)
Gornar Bellybreaker (Thunderhead Keep)
Linka Goldensteel (Frozen Forest)

Cleave is a good elite, but personally I use Eviscerate for everything now (even PvE)
If you do decide to run Eviscerate instead of Cleave then you can drop Dismember and bring 'Watch Yourself' (great skill, I love it)

Utaku
Eviscerate is capturable during hell's precipice, so start with cleave and a signet of capture. Cleave + eviscerate in the bar= win.
farmpig
both cleave and eviscerate are sweet skills i use them both cant decide which is better
clawofcrimson
I used to always run cleave in pve... now I favor evisc.. simply because it is a combination of +dmg and DW.
While PUGing in pve I typically use:
[card]enraging charge[/card] [card]flail[/card] [card]eviscerate[/card] [card]agonizing chop[/card] [card]executioner's strike[/card] [card]mending touch[/card] [card]healing signet[/card] [card]rebirth[/card]

I only have Prophecies so I generally use this
[skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill][skill]Penetrating Blow[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill][skill]Eviscerate[/skill][skill]"Watch Yourself"[/skill]Filler skill depending on location[skill]Healing Signet[/skill][/skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Bad thing about Prophecies is that boss spawns are usually random. The boss in Frozen Forest CAN spawn very close to Copperhammer Mines, but remember he shares the spawn point with 4-5 other bosses. You can either repeatedly go in and out of Copperhammer Mines until he spawns, or find a reliable spawn in a mission in which he will always appear at (from memory, theres one right at the end of Ice Caves of Sorrow, and 2 in Iron Mines of Moladune, roughly halfway to the Seer).
