I'm Very Important and that's it?

I was a bit confused as to why they haven't implemented the next level of the KoaBD title track too... Although i'm only at 16 titles maxed atm it shouldn't be too long till i'm at 20.

Bah, all you lucky survivor RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs... would've been nice if i'd of actually had a chance to get that title on my main. We can all see you bought your Wisdom title too

Yah i bought about half of the unids used for the title. Man they were so so cheap back during the double gold drops from chests weekend. Had to sell a fair few ecto prior to that weekend lol.

I feel for those of you that wont ever get the chance to get legendary survivor on your main characters. I made the choice at the start of factions to remake my necro with the legendary survivor title. Even though he was my main character back in chapter one with god knows how many hours on him the choice was def worth it. Its a shame you cant get both the LDoA and survivor, would have been so cool to get em both.

Well done for all of you building those titles up keep it up, by the looks of it titles will be one of the main carry overs for GW2.

Oh and yes I am currently working on the luxon, lucky and unlucky titles, but I doubt I will max them any time this year, they are HUGE!!

...... Y'know... I remember a time when people with the Kind of a Big Deal title were rare.
It wasn't even all that long ago.
It was my primary goal in Guild Wars... and then the Skill Hunter title track got hacked into four pieces... basically... and I got KoaBD rather faster than I was expecting... AND it became common as muck.

I feel a bit.... y'know..... disappointed about that.
"People Know Me" ... the second level... just doesn't sound as cool. It is certainly within my grasp though. Heck, even 3rd tier is within my grasp. I doubt I'll manage 4th though ... and by the sounds of it when A-Net finally get around to implementing it, it'll be a funky-sounding one to have.


I hear your complaint though.... and am still alarmed that you have managed to max so many titles. Furthermore I'm alarmed that quite a few others here have managed to max so many.

I've only got 5 to this day.... working on a few others between farming... o_0;

My typical British sentiment toward the frogs aside though.... I will play devil's advocate for a moment and remark that extra ranks on the Maxed Titles track aren't exactly "necessary" any more than expansions on other tracks.
I'm supposing if that same person decided to stay drunk in game for 1,000,000 minutes... on a whim... that they would want an extra rank put on the Drunkard title track especially for them...

Big deal... so they more than maxed the title track. Congratulations. Complaining about the track's inability to keep up with what they have personally decided to do isn't exactly going to help though...

I'm unlikely to ever get past Rank 2 on the maxed titles track anyway.... so I'm not really bothered.

The OP clearly needs to spend more than 4 months per year in the Middle East serving Queen and country..... GW is such a waste of obvious talent!

I'm now feeling really bad because I've split my efforts between my W and Ele. Got Protectors/Cartographers on one and Leg Survivor/Skill Hunters on other. My plan was to get two @KOABD then stop there. I've been doing Drunkard on another and Wisdom on yet another.... I just wanted each of them to have a decent title, I guess for roleplay reasons. Now when I see these people hitting 10, 15, 20 .. talk even of 30 it's just making wonder why I bothered at all, and wonder why I stupidly diluted these between characters. To get any kind of Badge of Honour you have to concentrate all the work on a single char, there's just no recognition for maxing say 20 different titles across four characters > which is possibly more of an achievement as it would indicate you are pretty decent with 4 classes.

I guess I just don't like to play one class all the time. I don't think this is a good thing about the Maxed Titles Track, it just encourages repetitive gameplay with a single character. Really, what's the point in selling the game with 8 slots?

For me, if it stops @15 with "I'm very important" then this could always be used as an incentive to play a different character and build up maxed titles with him/her instead?

What? ... Like it isn't difficult to get a selection of different titles all with one character?

Different classes serve different roles and do better in different areas. Naturally certain classes are going to be better at getting certain titles...
How is it not more difficult to try and do all that with just the one class, working around its inate weaknesses?

I'm piling as many titles as possible on my first character: my Assassin... and let me tell you it isn't easy. Most other folks I've seen do it with monks or necros... and they survive a lot better in Hard Mode than Assassins do... o_0;

MAYBE what we need is a Class-Based title then? If you hit 25 and you are playing as an Assassin, your title should be 'Legendary Assassin'? With maybe 'Master Assassin' @20? How about this for a well-earned and non-kitsch sounding title?

By the way, whilst I agree that some things are easier with some classes.... most of the titles are effectively different manifestations of the same two things:

1. "I killed all life on the planet" (Vanquisher, Guardian, Skill Hunter, Cartographer, Spearmarshal, Lightbringer)
2. "I have lots of money" (Sweet Tooth, Drunkard, Wisdom, Lucky, Unlucky).

You only need to be able to kill and make money. And the money making can be done on a different character to the one you're spending it with anyway.

why you ask.... Simple

Hall of monuments

If you achieve a high number of titles you will want to be able to keep something from them and to do so you will have to buy Eye of the North to be able to move them over to GW2.

The majority of people who achieve any rank of KoaBD will most likely buy both products coming out to keep their legacy alive, so..... makes sense to make the KoaBD track easier to achieve with high tiers.

Hopefully the ' heated discussions' going back and forth on this thread are not detracting from the original statement I was trying to put forward with this thread.

Please anet give us some indication of when ( or even if ) the next levels of the title track will be added.

Again well done everyone that has achieved so much on their primary characters. Am finding it surprising that no-one has posted that they have more titles than me surely there are many people out there with 20+ max titles.

Anyway goto get back to ' grinding ' those titles lol

How long did it took for you to get all these titles?

Does the I'm Very Important count as a maxed title? If so wouldn't you have only 19 maxed titles if they made another rank, leaving you one title away from the next rank?

On page 2 of this thread I have put my current max titles, counting them will reveal 20 max titles. So to answer your question, no it does not count. Which is strange in a way seeing as the title description says it is a max title lol.
I remade this necro back in factions and my /age emote gives me: 1343 hours over last 9 months.

Hope that clears up the questions.
