Heros - how do I use enchantments?

Enchantments (the ones with -1) casted by heros are cancelled immediately by the game - is it possible to keep them active?

i cant think of any way, but its a relief to know that heroes will use holy veil correctly.

I use Tahlkora with Life Barrier and Life Bond from time to time. If you stop her using them (shift + left click on skill) to "disable" the skill then YOU manually use them then the hero will not take them off and, if it's a monk hero, and you give them blessed signet, they will continue to use it to keep their energy up.

Thank you - I am missing something. I tried shift-left click on the enchantment skill, she still cancels the enchantment immediately.
I tried the shift-left click both IN town and IN zone - no difference - please help

Example: You want Dunkoro to use Life Bond on you:

1. Equip Life Bond on Dunkoro's skill bar (well, duh ).
2. shift-klick Life Bond to disable it.
3. target yourself (e.g. click on your health bar)
4. activate Life Bond manually by clicking on it (note: leave it disabled!)

If this doesn't work, you're doing something wrong. It doesn't matter whether you disable the skill in an outpost or outside. You just have to leave it disabled all the time, as heroes will cancel the enchantent instantly as soon as you allow them to.
