...Well for me, at least. Don't know how hard other people's hard mode experiences are going so far, but one thing I've been having a hard time doing Twin Serpant Lake on Hard mode. The Tengu are fine, just not the huge mobs of 8-10 Mergoyles and Skales.
What have you guys been using to get past these horrendus mobs, not to mention the beginning of the area itself?

Cowboy Nastyman
leaving from toa helps a ton i know i had a lot of trouble with this area as well, jsut take it slow and be wary of tengu patrols while fighting the skale and mergoyles

It helps if you make any hero for whom you aren't using a secondary a monk, and then throw remove hex on their bar. Helps a lot when you have 4-5 SS cast on your party at the begining of a fight.
If you do this with an Ele, set it cast only manually, so that he continues to cast his damage spells and doesn't waste time unless in a pinch.
Also, I agree with cowboy, having an 8 person party helps a ton.

a warrior that can perfectly play with aggros is the key. have all them on u, then norgu and 2 other heroes spamming echo/shatter hex on u.
nothing can beat that

Bring some warriors, mesmer, dervishes and paragons. Power Block is just too strong vs your fire nuker ele ...

I have been having more issues with the Scales, as they go into spamming deathly swarm. At 120+ per spam, I can't shut them all down.
I think what is more irritating is in Talmark Wilderness, again in Stingray Strand: Mobs of inferno imps. If you're clustered (ala hero/hench), Rodgorts invocation times 8 imps = dead party.

I went on a run from ToA and Cleared Black Curtain, Cursed Lands, Talmark Wilderness, and Tears of the Fallen in one run(No candy canes). I got to Twin Serpent and while while fighting like the first group or whatever, got jumped by the damn Tengu. Wasn't able to finish it, got booted for 60DP.
I was a Dervish with Dunk as boon healer, MoW as MM, and Sousuke as SF Ele with Alesia, Claude, Orion, and Stefan.
I dealt with the fire imps by luring them into a tightly packed group against a wall, and let my AoE attacks combined with sousuke and orion nuking them took em down in under 5 seconds. Group of 6 or so dead in seconds. Biggest pain in Talmark was the Ele imp boss there.
