I used to spam it with my Paragon. Then came the nerf, and for good reason.
On my warrior, I usually don't use it, but I would in pve if I had one more skill slot.

Sk8tborderx
I use it for farming. In PvE I never use tactics unless soloing, so it is a waste to bring it. In PvP, it is better to just have a paragon bring it.

it used to be armor+20 whatever your tactics level, only duration was variable.
Tactics 0 gave 5s duration, which was nice to refresh refrains.

Love it, party wide armor buff, can't possibly suck. When there's room it always goes in my utility slot.

If I'm playing in PvE and I need/want a defensive skill in my bar, it's usually my go-to skill of choice. Defensive stances means no IAS.
Destroyer1717
I use it on my warrior in PvE, since I max out Tactics anyway. I don't find strength the least bit useful, and I don't ever really use my secondary. But then I never used an IAS skill on my bar either...
Stormlord Alex
Lover. When I deign it worthy to take a defensive skill, it's more than likely WY!.
The defensive stances are horribly self-centered, and kill your IAS/speed buff. Thusly, they suck on a warrior.

Love it, cheap and a great armour buff.
Nkah Sennyt
Adore this skill in HM. Don't think I've heard a party complain about an extra ~20 armor.
Lurid
I absolutely love this skill when paired with my Ranger. Just drop down to the next break point in say Expertise, and along with the unused attribute points that otherwise would just be laying around...bam +17 or so armor. Not to mention a nice attack speed buff that flurry offers.. This is on a Hero btw, interrupter / party support.
LifeInfusion
Watch Yourself was, is, and remains one of my favorite warrior skills when playing defensively (Hard mode anyone?).
Why? If you're going to invest in tactics, might as well use one of the best armor buffs ever since they increased the range to shout range.
Do you have a choice of investing in Tactics? The only other choice is investing points in Strength instead of tactics for shields. Strength means no healing signet or healing, since even Lion's might hinges on tactics. Plus, using strength skills is the only reason to use strength at all given its marginal effectiveness as a primary attirbute.
Tactics has a bunch of skills like Steady Stance, Riposte, Deadly Riposte, Balanced Stance, Bonetti's Defense, Shield Stance, Shields Up! that are highly conditional but worth it.
================================================== =======
If you're not going to invest in tactics, strength skills are useful such as flail, bull's strike, counterattack, Dolyak signet (sometimes), Griffon's sweep, rush, flourish, signet of stamina (running), sprint, enraging charge.
But if Healing is going to be involved, healing signet and Lion's might both hinge on tactics. And tactics means I bring watch Yourself.

Think I've played maybe one PvE warrior bar in 24 months that didn't include WY.
Halmyr
Almost the time when I play my standart warrior, great for me and my whole party. Its been mention, I dont think people mind +20 armor.
kobey
Axe warrior, Sword warrior..... Watch Yourself has always been on my bar
Risa
"Watch Yourself" is always on my bar, (for a warrior, and if I am not using a hammer) as I am a heavy PvE player, and many of the "high end" areas have heavy base damage and elemental damage. +20 Armor never hurt anyone, and the 4 Adren isn't too hard to fill. When it comes to "Watch Yourself," this is probably my favorite bar. (PvE, of course)

11 (10 + 1) Tactics

As for a sword alternative, this is also a pretty fun bar, though I've been using Crippling Slash ever since the addition of bleeding.

i like this build for some reason:
"Watch Yourself!"
Healing Signet
Eviscerate
Executioner's Strike
Cyclone Axe
Flail
Dash
Rez in hard mode | Signet of Malice in easy mode
relieves pressure on monks ; partywide buff ; great damage ; IAS+cancel
it's decent and it's my default axe build.
WY is great. Just great. o btw, i always run a 12,10,8 axe, tactics, strength split. =]

I actually prefer "Watch Yourself!" now after the update. I'll often run my tactics above 11 in sword builds, and it'll give more armor than 20 when you're higher than 11 tactics. The pre-nerf (I like to think of it as a buff) "Watch Yourself!" was too powerful with paragons, anyways.

Cyclone Axe, Watch Yourself, Cleave, Penetrating Blow, Defensive Stance, Hex Breaker, Healing Signet, Resurrection Signet
or
Cyclone Axe, Watch Yourself, Dismember, Penetrating Blow, Defensive Stance, Echo, Healing Signet, Resurrection Siget
I am not a fan of the Rebirth Signet for the warrior as I hate mid battle dragging a squishy into the mob I am tanking. Sad as I have that r10 sunspear. I take echo for defensive stance then just chain them. Also nice for wild blow when doing shiro in Gate of Madness.

Echo...and defensive stance...
stances are no longer for warriors anyway, tanking is stupid but then ECHO?

I would say the same thing under normal circumstances. I have found instances where it has come in handy.
Of course I did expect that reaction. Thus is the cost of sharing.

Hmmmm, why not bring another stance like Bonetti's and use an elite attack or something? Honestly is really is wasted. I think Dolyak would be better
Marty Silverblade
You have found places where Echo--->Defensive Stance has come in handy? Meh, theres no way you'd catch me running that in the hope that I'd need it. IMO, I'd rather be swinging still I drop rather than Echoing Defensive Stance. I mean, wheres the fun in that?
Btw, while we're on the topic of Echoing skills that probably shouldn't be Echoed, Think about Dragon Slash. Try it while you can(both are elite so you need a W/Me in Perdition Rock/wherever in Cantha & Elona), and they will recharge each other instantly. Gotta love it when your elite recharges itself.
EDIT: Got off topic for a min. I personally didn't think much of "Watch Yourself!", but I decided to run it the Realm of Torment and it worked well. I wouldn't say I love it, but it's growing on me.

Thes instances where it came in handy that I am refering to are just me and guildies doing things of the nature where it is beneficial that I soak up 100% of the melee aggro. I chose that stance for duration/armor/evasion. Normaly I run cleave. The whole echo thing was a recent development from the stance updates. A few months ago I wouldnt even have had that skill in my bar. (Defensive Stance)

Strength = USELESS for warrior now.
@ 0 strength, I have 10s. of Rush and 5s. of Flail, about...
Both durations are PLENTY to build 4 adrenaline with an axe to reuse them.
Power Attack, Warrior's Endurance {E}, etc., all of them do NOT use strength to a degree that I find useful. I think Lion's Comfort is as close as I'll get but get this: if you dump 4 points into Str. and 10 points into tactics, you'll heal for MORE than if you did the reverse. [or at worst, nearly the damn same... ack*]
Strength used to be hot with things like Defy Pain and Endure pain but I learned the ugly way that temp hp = death at best of the worst times, screw strength!!!
[Beta Guildwars from before the game was released had Strength adding 2% damage per str. point per ATTACK!!! Now, it's 1%/point ONLY on skill attacks... Talk about a disgusting nerf...]
I run 9 - 10 tactics and if I want to use my Tanzit Defender shield, 9 strength 10 tactics.
Ideally, today's warrior should run something like:
16 axe/sword
10 tactics
10 secondary (if needed)
and the LEFTOVERS go to strength.
Mark of Fury is my PvE Blood magic hex of choice as warrior.
Now if they let strength do something like reduce condition / hex duration or increase hp count [more relative strength means more fitness means more endurance under fire in reality...] THAT'D be a good buff to the useless attribute.
For the record, sex with Watch Yourself!! is GOOD for when I run my Olias hero using Vamp and Shambling Horror Summons backed by Order of Undead {E}. In Sorrow's Furnace, my heroes and 4 Henchies can pretty much bulldoze over all opposition since being grouped together with +19 AL for 9 seconds is VERY handy... [I'm sure Minions acquire the armor boost too since they seem to die slower when I'm shouting my face off]
That and I don't notice a decline in my Eviscerate spam. [low adrenaline skills don't deter from that sexy elite much...

Watch yourself is excellent in PvE. With some monsters [especially in HM] dealing high amounts of damage, you can see the difference ~20 extra armour can make to your whole party. It's even better in Hm, where monsters won't always focus on a tank. It ensures the whole party is somewhat protected
The Mad Man
knowing that the -40 armor from healing signet causes double damage, I can conclude (hopefully) that the +~20 armor from WY will cut physical damage in half. freaking awesome. or maybe it doesn't work that way lol the point is the difference is significant, making WY an excellent skill slot use.

+40 armour halves damage so +20 armour would quarter damage

Before the nerf i had it on a 'sin. Spammed it all day long so i could stay up there with everyone. Nightstalkers+Un-nerfed WY was totally FTW.

what? The armor reductions stacks exponentially. +20 armor reduces damage by about 30%.

I wouldn't say I spam it but I usually have it on most of my war builds. Its a great way to help out the party since wars don't generally do so considering the lack of energy. I tend to use it whenever I suspect a spike is going to happen or when there's a lot of AoE damage to offset.
