journey to granite citadel
k1ra
In order for me to get to granite citadel with my nightfall character, do I need to complete missions to get to southern shiverpeaks and walk there or can I skip the missions and travel there? And if I can travel there without completing missions, what is the safest and best route to get there? Thanks in advance

Travel north/northeast and east from Lion's Arch to Beacon's Perch (check the maps at guildwiki.org). Catch a runner from Beacons (if you have the money) or fight yourself south from Beacon's Perch until you get to Snake Dance. From Snake Dance you can reach Grenth's Footprint (area) and the Deldrimore War Camp (outpost). From the Deldrimore War Camp it's not that far north/northeast to Spearhead Peak (area) and Granite Citadel (outpost).
Consult the maps at guildwiki.org and I think you'll get by fine. I might add that most runners from Beacon's Perch will take you to Droknar's Forge (outpost) via Camp Rankor (outpost), in which case you often need another runner/fight yourself north from Camp Rankor to Deldrimore War Camp.

I believe that would be West from Lions Arch to Beacons. If North is up on the map, going to the right (backwards towards Ascalon) should be heading West, correct?

Clockwise: North (12 o'clock), East (3 o'clock), South (6 o'clock) and West (9 o'clock)
