Server Problems tonight?

Was just curious if anyone was getting kicked off repeatedly like me and some guildies were. At the same time tonight me and a few others got disconnected from the game and couldnt reconnect. When I clicked the x in the top right it froze and i had to do a cold restart. When i got restarted I jumped on started fighting abaddon and 5 minutes later the game disconnected again. Earlier I noticed others in towns complaining about being kicked from the game as well. Anyone else having these problems today?

Yep, the server is extremely buggy tonight. Freezes left and right, boots, as well as dying on every single quest thanks to the server freezing.

After reading this for a moment, I went to log in to Guild Wars. Tried three times, didn't work. So yeah I'm having some problems, too. Everything else is fine, though...

Well i froze up and got kicked off and now half of my friends list just went offline.... could it be the Euro server problem over again :O!

Oh yeah, major problems, my entire group (all on vent with no lag to the vent server) were getting 007's and severe lag, with the screen freezing up more than not. It was strange because the worst of it would occur at a specific point in the map we were trying to clear (Tahnnakai Temple). I was connected to server 216.107.254.51. After about half an hour and three attempts to clear the zone, we disbanded - it isn't even playable right now.

I'm getting it on American servers also, so it's definatly happening everywhere.

Seems that the guildmates of mine not affected are on the West Coast. Could be a routing problem for those people on the East Coast. With all of these powerful storms and such moving through the East Coast there could be quite a few lines down.

I'm having problems too. I was near the end of a mission and it froze. I had to restart my computer.

Yup, I'm on American servers and am having server problems as well. Random kicks and lag spikes ftl.

yep, it's bad. 40-sec lags for me, boots for my guildies. I almost lost a survivor so I'm understandably a bit irked

Absolutely, I froze up for no reason (internet still working), then laggeed out. When I returned, some one said "my connection just died", and I said "Me too!".
Two minutes later I froze up and lagged out again. Then I couldn't sign on, and it was giving me the "058" error message, as if it were a problem on my end. Then I finally came back about 10min later, and the same thing started happening to my friend.
That's why I'm posting here now, instead of playing...

I logged on looking forward to do some more HM. Instead I logged on to find my monk stuck in a side of a cliff in Droknar's Forge with a ton of lag :/ Whole guild keeps getting disconnected, not to mention everyone on my friend's list and everyone in the zone. Oh well, guess I'll find something else to do tonight.

Here is another thought. Since it apparently is affecting everyone, it could be that the very large fire in Los Angeles could be affecting the connections to Guild Wars servers. The Guild Wars servers are at the NcSoft LA office.

Extreme server problems. Helping couple guildies do last two missions. What a thrill to have two of your party disconnect while trying to kill you know who. And the last mission was filled with ten to fifteen seconds lag outs, just sheer misery.

It actually started last night for me and continued on till today. Today was progressively worse though with error codes thrown in and random disconnects. I'm not sure what's going on of course.

Huge Lag spikes for me and for my guildies too. At about 7pm PST (We're all 0n the west coast) 2 of my guildies starting having connection problems in the middle of a mission that 4 of us were in together, but the other 2 were not having issues what so ever, we live right next to each other so it was bazzar. Then an hour later huge lag spikes, and random disconnects for all of us. Avg ping was floating between 15,000 and 20,000ms. We are all on TS and all of our connections checked out great...except for the one on Guild wars

My email and webserfing seems to be working fine. Just getting huge amounts of lag in the game. I've placed my survivor on a shelf just to be safe. Hopefully they'll have this fixed asap.

I am getting so much lag got booted like 5 times, we were in iorn mines doing bonus and when I finally got to reconnect everyone was either dead or gone. It's very bad lag.

I have just checked a few forums for Lineage 2 and City of Heroes. Apparently they are also experiance serious lag issues. So it is not just GW server, but something is happening at the NcSoft office in LA. If the LA fire is not the culprit it could also be the high heat that California has been having of late.

8:30ish pacific friend and I experienced the same thing. Very high pings, freezes, disconnects, trouble logging back in, etc...

Guild Wars servers aren't based in Los Angeles, as far as I know. They're based out of Seattle, Washington, so the fires aren't the culprit.

I pay 1k to enter UW I aggro the first set of ataxes I lag lag ends I die I get return to outpost button I click button I goto ToA and press "I" nothing happens then I notice that nobody is moving or saying anything for 2-3 min then new lag ends and I discover that I am simply out 1k .... LAG FTW Im done with GW for the night
