This was suppose to be a 'good bye to Alex and good luck on your new job' thread and not 'a bash to Anet'. Alex does not work for Anet. Alex works for NcSoft. And since Alex said you cannot have his stuff, he will most likely be playing Guild Wars.
I bet Alex's decision to leave NcSoft had nothing to do with Anet or Guild Wars. He has a chance to actually be playing an active role in the developing of a game instead of being a CR for the Guild Wars community for NcSoft.

In this day and age it is rather normal for people to go and work someplace else - for any number of reasons.
