Ive been messing around with my ranger and Ebon Dust Aura and found that I have problems with larger mobs, so a tank build using EDA crossed my mind, so I wanned your opinion on it.
Since I don't play with my warrior much I'm guessing it ain't perfect, but I think it can get the job done, I haven't tested it yet, still need to get a Dervish Elite Tome
Attributes:
Earth Prayers 12
Tactics 12+1+3
Equipment:
+5 nrg Ebon Axe of Enchanting, or a Zealous one if you wish to use [skill]dust cloak[/skill]
a -2/45 while enchanted tactics shield, Malinon's Shield is perfect.
Skills:
[skill]ebon dust aura[/skill][skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill][skill]defensive stance[/skill][skill]armor of sanctity[/skill][skill]bonetti's defense[/skill][skill]"to the limit!"[/skill][skill]"none shall pass!"[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill]
I think talking about the usage of the build isnt really needed since the skill descriptions speak for themselves
Variants:
[skill]dust cloak[/skill] instead of [skill]"none shall pass!"[/skill] of you are not comfortable with your energy and wish to use a zealous axe instead of an ebon one.
[skill]Flurry[/skill] instead of [skill]"none shall pass!"[/skill] for faster attack speed and faster adrenaline boost.
[skill]balanced stance[/skill] instead of [skill]"none shall pass!"[/skill] in areas with heavy KD and in case you are sure you can hold aggro.
If I think of anything else I will post, any feedback is welcome.
Btw, I know I don't have a res
Your oppinion on a W/D tank

Pointless.
For the most part, a tank is deadweight.
Places where you need/would rather have a tank, Obsidian Flesh (spell immunity) is better, alongside Earth Magic armour buffs.
Kudos to you for a different take on tanking, and fitting mass blind onto a warrior.

W/D With [skill]Primal Rage[/skill] is fun. Max Scythe & Strength. Throw on some condition causing Dervish enchantments, and enjoy the slaughter. Also, your build looks like it could have some nice use in a party, atleast on hard mode. Though I think a Dervish can mass blind better, still, and people generally want warriors to "tank." (Though tanking's no fun)

Well I wanned a different kind of approach. As for ppl wanting warriors for tanks, cant blame them

i was thinking of a primal rage scythe war before i got factions, but now that i do havnt had time to try it? is it any good?
For Great Justice!
That is so not what I had in mind when i saw W/D.
My W/D is a pretty neat tanks.
Max Health of 800-900 with Endure Pain and Vital Boon
Power Attack, Leviathan Sweep for hitting and hitting blockers (LS usefull in PvE where EVERY ranger has Whirling Defence)
Chilling Victory after youve used ED and VB and Power Attack to knock em down even more, and when there just under 50% hit em with Reapers Sweep to make sure they dont get back up with that big Deep Wound on them.
Full Strength and Scythe Mastery with a good scythe seem to work.
Its really quite all round, as its merely just a damage giver and a good extender of life.
I usually just have Sig of Cap at the end to cap anything i see =]
