Got it figured now. Just take 3 spirits and 2 running skills. This way you won't kill too many at once. Just keep running in to aggro and take em a few at a time. My drops have increased significantly this way.

Normally only 1 spirit is left when all the vampires are dead, so i think 5 or 6 is definetly worth it, coz dieng with a few golds lieng on the floor is rly rly good at pissing me off.

10 golds in 45 minutes is my current record.
Admittedly.... 3 of them were total crap. Merched instantly. Later on another 4 got the salvage+merch treatment because their handle / pommel / etc mods were good but the damage one wasn't.
I pretty much only do this farm for mods now, as I've had all the skins except Zodiac Focus and Zodiac Staff (which is ironic, as usually I get more gold staves and foci than anything else) and kept at least one of each. If I can get my hands on any 10% Furious or 20% Enchanting mods, all the better.
I'm totally sick of the slayer mods though.
What with the Plants, Ogres and Dragons no-damage-mod weapons I got from the Kappas all in a row a few days ago, it was pushing it a bit to get two no-damage-mod Demons slayer weapons from the Warren immediately after.... ¬_¬

I can only assume that the Vampire's Suicide Health bypasses Shadow Form.

Sure. Vampire's Suicide is a skill, and Shadow Form doesn't block skills (because of this, Assault Enchantments can strip Shadow Form, like other skills...)

WTF? I just did this farm like 20 times and I dont get any XP or drops. am I doing somtehing wrong? I'm in HM I have 6 ranger spirits and all the vampires just suicide but I dont get any XP or drops can some1 explain me?

It should have been nerfed on day one if it being posted on the forums. It was a pathetic exploit.
